Casinomeister's Verdict

Liberty Slots has been around for a few years. They have a relatively low profile. Don’t get many complaints about them.

First Impression

Liberty Slots Casino is part of the Deckmedia N.V. group, which owns quite a few online casinos, including Red Stag Casino, Miami Club Casino, Uptown Acres Casino, SlotoCash, Fair Go Casino, and more! The site was launched in 2011. They offer over 130 separate slot games, including classic 3-reel, 5-reel video slots, and exclusive 7-reel offerings.  Many of the slot games at Liberty Slots Casino are exclusive and cannot be found at any other casino property.

Liberty Slots Casino also offers classic table games with several Blackjack variants, Roulette, Craps, Baccarat, and several table poker games, including Casino Hold ‘Em, Mulligan, Progressive Caribbean Stud, American and European Roulette.

In this casino review, we will examine what the online casino offers. We will examine the new-player deposit bonus, any no-deposit bonuses, free spins offers, casino games, and even the mobile casino. Let’s kick things off by looking at the bonuses and promotions.

  • Exclusive video slots are available

  • Decent tournaments

  • Crypto-specific welcome bonus

  • Weak licensing

  • Relatively slow payouts

  • $20K per month withdrawal limits (not including progressive payouts)

Like most online casinos, Liberty Slots Casino offers various bonuses and promotions. Below, we will examine the main welcome bonus and other available promotions.

Weekly Rewards Bonus: More Bonus Money

The Weekly Rewards Bonus at Liberty Slots Casino offers players the chance to reload their account every day of the week with a deposit match bonus. These Reload bonuses range from 50% up to 100% matches on your purchase depending on the specific day:

  • Mondays: 75% match
  • Tuesdays: No bonus
  • Wednesdays: 50% match
  • Thursdays: No Bonus
  • Fridays: 100% match
  • Saturdays: 75% match
  • Sundays: 75% match

To take advantage of the Weekly Rewards Bonus, simply visit the cashier on one of the eligible days and select your desired deposit amount and payment method. The corresponding reload bonus percentage will automatically apply and match your purchase.

So, for example, if you deposit $100 on Friday, you will receive the full 100% match, which equals $100 in bonus funds on top of your $100 deposit. This provides $200 to enjoy slots, blackjack, video poker, and other available casino games. The Weekly Rewards Bonuses are available only on your first deposit of the day so that you can claim each bonus once per week.

Liberty Slots Casino Tournaments

Unfortunately, online casino tournaments can be hard to find in today’s day and age. They tend to be found at older casinos, and instant-play gaming has largely swept them into the past. However, several casinos still offer them, and Liberty Slots Casino is one such name.

Tournaments at Liberty Slots Casino provide a fun and exciting way to compete against other players for prize money and bonuses. Tournaments have a set timeframe, such as a few hours or days, and players race to finish with the biggest tournament balance by the end to win prizes.

To get started with tournaments, you first need to create a tournament nickname that will be displayed on leaderboards when you rank near the top. Then, browse the Tournament lobby to see current and upcoming events across various games like slots, blackjack, and video poker. The status and details of each tournament are clearly labeled.

Most tournaments require registration before the start time, and some charge a small entry fee deducted from your casino balance. Others are entirely free to enter. If you change your mind, you can withdraw from a tournament before it begins.

Once a tournament launches, you are given a set tournament balance separate from your principal balance to play with. The goal is to turn it into the biggest balance possible before the tournament ends by strategically wagering however you choose. Your tournament balance determines your rank against opponents on the leaderboard.

Many tournaments incorporate re-buy options, too. So, if you lose your balance, you can purchase another tournament entry for a second chance using your casino cash balance. This contributes to the total prize pool. But bonus funds cannot be used for tournaments, so bear this in mind.

Prizes at the end are awarded automatically and differ for each tournament. Some pay cash instantly to your casino balance. Others reward bonus credits, free spins, or comp points.

Welcome Offer

The welcome bonus at Liberty Slots Casino is an excellent way for new players to boost their bankroll and enjoy more gameplay when they first join. It is delivered as a 100% match bonus of up to $259 on your first three deposits. So, for example, if you fund your account with $100 on your first deposit, you will receive a $100 bonus to play with for a total of $200.

To claim the welcome bonus, simply make your first deposit through the cashier using your preferred deposit method. The 100% match welcome bonus will automatically be applied when you make your qualifying deposit. The bonus is available on your first three deposits only.

There is no Liberty Slots promo code required to activate this welcome bonus. All you need to do is make regular deposits, and the bonus funds will automatically be credited to your account. Do note that there are some games, like roulette and craps, which are excluded from fulfilling wagering requirements on bonuses. Other slot, specialty, and poker dice games may be excluded. This is commonplace at most casinos, but it’s worth mentioning if you’re unfamiliar with general casino terms and conditions.

The maximum bonus amount you can claim on each of the three deposits is $259. So, the full welcome package value across your initial three deposits is $777 if you deposit the maximum eligible amount each time – which isn’t too bad, especially if you plan on making a deposit anyway.

Like all standard casino bonuses, the Liberty Slots welcome bonus comes with wagering requirements to be met before you can withdraw any winnings associated with the bonus funds. For this welcome offer, there is a 20x wagering requirement. That means you must wager the combined value of the bonus amount plus your deposit at least 20 times before requesting a cash-out.

Only certain games fully contribute towards meeting wagering requirements, like slots, keno, and specialty games. Table games like blackjack only contribute 10% of your wagers towards clearing requirements. Remember, games like roulette, craps, and baccarat are completely excluded, and wagering on them will void your welcome bonus winnings.

Cryptocurrency Welcome Bonus

Liberty Slots Casino also offers a special ongoing welcome bonus for players who use popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, or Litecoin to fund their accounts. This cryptocurrency welcome bonus is a 250% match on your deposit using digital currencies up to $250 in bonus funds.

Compared to traditional deposit bonuses, the best thing about this cryptocurrency welcome offer is that it can be claimed once weekly instead of only on your first deposit. Each week between Sunday and Saturday, crypto players can take advantage of this lucrative 250% match by depositing through the cashier using Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, or Litecoin and selecting the bonus in the dropdown menu.

We like that Liberty Slots provide a helpful Digital Wallet Guide that you can use to understand the basics of buying crypto. It’s not something we see at every casino, and it’s helpful if you’re unfamiliar with crypto and fancy getting started with it.

If you want to claim the crypto bonus at Liberty Slots Casino, simply visit the Liberty Slots cashier, select crypto as your chosen deposit method, choose how much to deposit, and click the button to claim the 250% matched deposit bonus. The bonus funds will then be credited to your account automatically.

No-Deposit & Free Spins Offers

Liberty Slots Casino does not offer a no-deposit bonus for new players. However, they offer a “free money” promotion once you reach the Amber level of the VIP program. Once you do, you can use the bonus code LIBGIV12 once per month to claim a $20 free casino chip.

VIP and Loyalty Programs

The Liberty Rewards Club is the VIP program at Liberty Slots Casino that offers players an array of special bonuses, rewards, and benefits that increase the more they play. All real money players are automatically enrolled when they make a minimum deposit of $25 to become Amber-level members.

There are six VIP tiers in the Liberty Rewards Club – Amber, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. As you wager on games, you earn comp points that fill a progress bar and level you up to the next status tier when reaching the required points. Each successive VIP tier unlocks higher bonuses and better perks.

For example, Amber players receive 10% bonuses on deposits daily plus valuable reload bonuses up to $100 on Fridays, Mondays, and more. But Bronze members get 15% deposit matches daily, and the same weekly reload offers, automatically upgraded upon hitting 10,000 comp points.

Higher tiers like Platinum and Diamond offer 30-35% matches on every deposit, which can add up over time. The weekly reload bonuses scale up, too, so Diamond players get $250 free money opportunities on Fridays and Mondays.

Additionally, you earn comp points at an accelerated rate as you climb to higher VIP tiers through wagering. So you fill progress bars faster, level up quicker, and stand to earn far greater rewards over time compared to standard players.

Other noteworthy benefits include higher weekly withdrawal limits, exclusive VIP promotions and tournaments, personalized birthday offers, and more. Liberty Slots may even comp specialty VIP trips and events to its most loyal players.

Liberty Slots Casino offers a variety of deposit methods to accommodate players’ preferences, ensuring a smooth gaming experience. Visa and MasterCard are available for players wanting conventional banking options, with a minimum deposit of $25 and no associated fees. However, cards cannot be used for withdrawals.

For those who prefer cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin is an excellent choice. Bitcoin allows for deposits and withdrawals, with a minimum deposit of $25 and a withdrawal minimum of $100. Notably, Bitcoin transactions are free of fees, and withdrawals take up to 48 hours.

Liberty Slots also supports Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, eZee Wallet, and Neosurf for deposits for additional flexibility. Each option requires a minimum deposit of $10 and is free of any deposit fees. However, it’s important to note that these methods may be limited to deposits only. All deposits are credited to your online gambling account immediately.

Withdrawal Speed

Regarding withdrawals, Liberty Slots Casino provides a few withdrawal methods. However, you will find that most deposit methods are not, unfortunately, available when you withdraw money. The main withdrawal method touted at the casino is Bitcoin. This allows a minimum withdrawal of $100 and a maximum of $2,500. The advantage of using Bitcoin is its rapid withdrawal time of just 48 hours – although a glance at the forum will turn up several players complaining about longer withdrawal time frames.

Liberty Slots offers withdrawals via check and bank wire for those who prefer more traditional methods. Both methods have a minimum withdrawal limit of $150. This is insanely high – and there’s more, too.

Checks allow a maximum withdrawal of $3,000 per week with a processing time of 5 days and a fee of $45. Bank wire, on the other hand, also has a $45 fee but offers a slightly lower maximum withdrawal limit of $2,500 per week and takes up to 15 days to process. A $45 fee in 2024 is not acceptable in our eyes – and when combined with the minimum withdrawal of $150, it’s essentially pricing out lower-staking players.

Now, we also found the following in the casino’s terms and conditions:

“The minimum withdrawal from the casino is $150, depending on your available options. Please review our payout options for limits and available methods. The maximum amount that can be withdrawn is $5,000 per week. Any amount greater than $5,000 will be divided into parts, where no part can be larger than $5,000, and sent on consecutive weeks until the total amount has been delivered. “

While $5,000 per week isn’t the worst withdrawal limit we’ve ever seen, it’s still something we don’t like to see. We prefer when casinos have no, or much higher withdrawal limits. The casino does not state whether progressive jackpots are included in this withdrawal limit.

Responsible gaming

Liberty Slots Casino does a pretty good job regarding responsible gambling when compared to other Curacao-licensed casinos. However, there’s still a lot to be desired. A quick glance at the responsible gambling page, for example, reveals worrying terms like this:

“Similarly, if your account was closed at your request in the past and you change your mind, for whatever reason, let us know, and we will gladly reopen your account, again with no questions asked.”

This seems a little ‘on the edge’ – and it could be seen by some players as the casino willing to open excluded players’ accounts. Similarly, there are no deposit, loss, or wager limits available. There is, however, self-exclusion available. The online casino says:

“If, however, you feel that gambling is a problem for you, please request the ‘Self-Exclusion’ form from us. Once completed and returned, your account will be closed permanently and will not be reopened under any circumstances. Additionally, we will remove you from all mailing lists and you will no longer be permitted to play at Liberty Slots. For further information about Self-Exclusion, please contact Customer Support.”

Customer support

Liberty Slots Casino does a pretty good job regarding customer support. Their customer support team works 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so you can always reach them if you encounter issues. Whether you have questions about their certified fair gambling machines, want to know if you can play Poker Dice, Lucky Beans, or Vegas Technology Tri-Card Poker while using bonus money, or have an issue with your account, the team is always able to help.

You can reach the customer support team through live chat and email; there is no phone number that we can find. We always recommend using live chat to contact online casinos as it connects you with an operator in a couple of minutes. However, if you need to submit sensitive information or wish to lodge a complaint, you should use the casino’s email address instead.

Unfortunately, Liberty Slots Casino doesn’t offer much information about their verification/KYC policy. The only information we could find was this:

“A Player shall not allow any other person (including, without limitation, any person under the age of majority) to use the Player’s account, access or play at the Casino, place any wagers, or accept any winnings or prizes. Players are only permitted to access an account in their name. Play is forbidden on behalf of a beneficial owner, and any pay-outs will be denied if account verification cannot be confirmed.”

However, at Casinomeister, we always recommend verifying your online casino accounts upon sign-up. This will prevent delays later down the line and ensure you’re able actually to play there.

Website Experience and Features

Liberty Slots Casino offers desktop and mobile gaming experiences, each with unique aspects and functionalities. On desktop, the Liberty Slots Casino website may not strike you as modern in design, reflecting a more classic approach to online gaming.

The site’s visual appeal is themed heavily around the USA, and you’ll see red, white, and blue as the main color scheme. Indeed, even the name – Liberty Bell – refers to the iconic American Bell in Philadelphia. Navigating the site is fairly easy, and the new HTML5 casino version is much more efficient and easy to navigate than the old Flash-based site. Still, there is room for improvement.

In contrast, the mobile gaming experience at Liberty Slots Casino is surprisingly efficient despite the initial impression of an outdated design. The mobile site doesn’t offer a dedicated app download option, although this is hardly unsurprising; downloadable casino apps are only generally offered at larger online casinos, which have lots of money to spend on developing such an app.

The performance of the mobile casino is pretty decent, and during our testing, we found the casino games loaded quickly. The site uses the same color scheme as the desktop site, and navigating around is almost as easy; the main navigation menu is on the screen’s left side, and there’s also a game search menu.

So, despite the outdated appearance of both the desktop and mobile versions, the core functionality remains unaffected. You can enjoy a wide range of games, and loading speeds were pretty decent; we didn’t encounter any major issues with the site.

Brand games

At Liberty Slots Casino, players are treated to an exclusive selection of games mainly from two providers: WGS Technology (previously known as Wager Gaming) and Dragon Gaming. While not as widely recognized as mainstream studios like Quickspin or Big Time Gaming, these providers offer a unique gaming experience.

WGS Technology is known for its various slot games, specialty games, and excellent video poker, combining traditional and modern gaming experiences. On the other hand, Dragon Gaming adds a fresh twist with its innovative slot games.

Slots, Poker Slots, Instant Play Classics, and More

Slot games are the backbone of most online casinos today. While writing this Liberty Slots Casino review, we found the following video slots on offer:

Lilly’s Pad, Lucky Orbit, Jingle Jackpots, Red White and Win, Pirates of the Grand Line, Oriental Flower, Mayan Lost Treasures, Gems Gala, Four Mighty Beasts, Bunny Bucks, Book of the Earth, Aztec Warrior, Big Cats, Big Night, Coral Cash, El Mariachi, Empire of Riches, Dynasty, Tiki Lounge, The Wicked Witches, Super Soccer Slots, and The American Diner.

Live Dealer Games

Regarding the live casino experience, Liberty Slots Casino currently does not offer live dealer games. This is somewhat common in the U.S. online casino market due to various regulatory challenges and market preferences. Online casinos catering to the U.S. audience often focus on slots and standard table games, although some have started to partner with studios like Evolution, something we’d love to see Liberty Slots Casino doing.

If you are looking for a casino that offers live dealer games, Liberty Slots Casino won’t be for you.

Table Games and Video Poker

Aside from unique slots, licensed slots, and other games on the casino servers, Liberty Slots Casino offers other games, too. This includes video poker titles like Deuces Wild, Deuces Wild Multi-Hand, Double Joker, Bonus Double Joker, European Roulette, American Roulette, Blackjack, and Sic Bo.

Progressive jackpots

If you’re looking for progressive jackpot games, you will also be happy to find that Liberty Slots Casino offers a great selection of titles to choose from. Some of the games we found while writing this review include:

Stocking Stuffers, 7x Lucky Sevens, 3x Cool Cherry, Pay Dirt II, Mine All Mine, Western Call, Treasure Trail, Pot of Gold, Mega Money Mine, Lily’s Pad, Medusa’s Millions, Boys of Santa Carla, Bunny Bucks, Chase the Cheddar, and Crazy Cat Lady.

About the Team and History

Liberty Slots Casino, established in 2011, is a prominent name in the online casino world, focusing largely on serving the US market. Interestingly, the casino’s foundation can be traced back to the renowned English Harbour brand, a significant player in the casino market during the 2000s. The transformation of the old English Harbour into Liberty Slots was driven by the shifting gaming environment in the U.S. and represents a new chapter for the company, inheriting its predecessor’s assets and clientele.

The casino operates under the jurisdiction of Curacao, a common regulatory body for online casinos serving U.S. players. While Curacao’s licensing is pretty weak, there are some sites – Liberty Slots Casino being a prime example – that operate ethically. However, the online gambling regulator takes little to no action against rogue licensees, so you’re always slightly at risk when playing at one of their sites.

Liberty Slots has integrated the software of its predecessor, English Harbour, which has evolved over the years. Originally known as Odds On and Vegas Technologies, the software is now under WGS Technology. This technology, which appears to be owned by the Liberty Slots group, has been popular in the US online gambling market since 2000. The casino’s game catalog, predominantly powered by WGS, features a mix of classic titles and newer versions.

Liberty Slots Casino accepts players from most countries. However, there are some restricted countries, which include: the U.S.A., Canada, The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Holland (The Netherlands), France, Antigua, Austria, and Belgium.

Complaints and Track Record

Like all online casinos that have been around for so long, Liberty Slots Casino has several complaints and positive reviews in the Casinomeister forums. Here’s what a couple of our members say:

Here’s what hoff1985 had to say:

“Hey Guys, I had today my 3rd withdrawal at Liberty Slots of a total of 4 deposits. How are your experiences with VegasTech Slots? Are they all extremely low variance? Because I tried a lot. With Bonus Rounds, without “old-school” and more modern ones… But with all the slots I play, I get decent hits from time to time, every single time.

Of course, my cashouts were all in the 200-400$ region, but with 25$ or max. 50$ deposit. I just have a feeling that if you don’t play too risky (too high bets …), there’s a good chance that you will walk away with a decent result. The only time I wasn’t able to cashout was when I wanted too much 🙂

What is your experience with VegasTech Slots? Which are your favorites?

Just one word to the casino… It’s, without any doubt, safe to play there, in my opinion. In my case, the docs were verified in 6 hours, and I got all cashouts in 48-72 hours. There is, unfortunately, a 48-hour “reversal” period, but yeah, I can live with that.”

And here’s what Shirlsplay said about the tournaments at Liberty Slots Casino:

“Hi, I have been playing at Liberty Slots Casino in their tournaments for about 3 weeks straight. I mean, I play all day long for about 8 to 10 hours. They have daily quick slots for a $0.50 buy-in and last only 30 mins. you can rebuy for another $0.50 when your cash exceeds $5.00. Well, it is funny that the same people win the top 5. They pay to the top 20 but 1 thru 5 pay pretty well for a 30 min. tournament.

Today alone this one player ranked 1st like 8 times so far today, including higher paying tournaments which last 6 to 24 hours. I realize someone could be lucky, but on these 30 minutes, tourneys with having to rebuy in, lower your bet, etc.

We do not even get enough money to play with to cover a max bet spin, so this person would have to be using the hole amount for one spin and then rebuying, and this person would not have to play long before they had a high score maybe a couple of mins like 3 to 5 mins.

To basically hit a bonus round. I, on the other hand, get about 6 spins to each buy in, and I have only ever hit the bonus round right off, maybe twice I usually have to spin the reels about 75 times, if not more or even at all, and they hit right off each tourney. It just does not seem possible to me for them to win like that. Am I just being a bad loser because I do tend to be a little grumpy?

I really do not mind losing as long as I have a fair chance and fun doing it…lol. Just every day the same people, like a group of 8 of them, just hit really high right off all the time. Has anyone else noticed?? thanks:)”
