Lincoln Casino Review

Ok casino - not many complaints

By Casinomeister, Last updated May 8, 2024

Casinomeister's Verdict

Lincoln Casino is a low-profile casino – part of the SlotsVendor group. They aren’t bad, but they aren’t great.  They have been around for several years with few complaints. We have contact with their administration, so if a complaint does pop up, there should not be any issues taking care of it.

First Impression

Over 130 different slot games, including classic three reels, 5-reel video slots, then exclusive 7-reel offerings.  Many of the slot games at Liberty Slots Casino are exclusive and cannot be found at any other casino property. The casino also offers classic table games with several Blackjack variants, Roulette, Craps, Baccarat, and several table poker games, including Casino Hold ‘Em, Mulligan, Progressive Caribbean Stud, American, and European Roulette.

Like most online casinos today, Lincoln Casino aims to make depositing and withdrawing as easy as possible. They offer a small yet sufficient selection of payment methods, and players can make deposits and withdrawals using Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards. The minimum deposit for card deposits is $25 – pretty good if you ask us – and the casino does not charge any fee to process card deposits.

Unfortunately, Lincoln Casino does not have a live casino at the time of writing. The main reason is that WGS Technology does not have live dealer games. However, for some reason, Lincoln Casino has chosen not to partner up with a third-party game developer like Evolution Gaming or Pragmatic Play.

We will examine the casino bonuses available to kick off this Lincoln Casino review, we will examine the casino bonuses available. Lincoln Casino offers a welcome bonus – although it’s not displayed on their primary “promotions” page. Like many online casinos, they offer casino bonuses to existing customers – and you can find out about all of the Lincoln casino bonuses from their “Promotions” page, which is linked in the main navigation menu.

  • Seems ok - been around for a while

  • Decent Rewards program

  • Many WGS Technology games

  • Weak licensing jurisdiction

  • Low weekly withdrawal limits

  • Relatively slow payouts

  • No live dealer games

Lincoln Casino offers a great selection of bonuses and promotions to players. These emotions are available both to new customers, as well as those with an existing account. In the following sections of this review, we will examine the bonuses and promotions you can claim at Lincoln Casino. Firstly, we will look at the main welcome bonus available to players, and later, we will show you what existing customers can expect.

Welcome Offer

Lincoln Casino does not clearly state its welcome bonus for new players. When writing this Lincoln Casino review, we checked out the main promotions page at the casino. While they offer a fantastic selection of bonuses and promos, there was no clear welcome bonus available to new players.

However, they do talk about what is called a Lincoln 777 match bonus – and on the 21st day of every month, all players who already have a Lincoln Casino account are eligible to claim this bonus. It allows you to claim a matched deposit bonus of up to $100, and the minimum deposit to claim this promotion is just $25.

Another match bonus we found was the lucky seven promotion. This bonus runs on the seventh day of every month, and all existing players are eligible to claim a matched deposit bonus of up to $100. Similarly, the minimum deposit to claim this bonus is just $25. Full terms and conditions can be found on the promotions page.

No-Deposit & Free Spins Offers

When writing, we did not find any no-deposit bonuses at Lincoln Casino. It’s unclear whether they run these types of promotions from time to time, but at the time of writing, we could not locate any. If this changes in the future, we will update this review accordingly.

Weekly Rewards

Every Monday through Thursday, Lincoln Casino runs a unique weekly reward promotion. Every weekday, you can claim a unique reward. For example, on Monday, you can claim a 100% matched deposit bonus of up to $200. However, the wagering requirements are high – 40 times the total bonus amount – and the minimum deposit is $100, which may be too high for some players. The second bonus you can claim on Monday is a 50% matched deposit bonus – with a max bonus of $100.

The minimum deposit to claim this is $50; again, the wagering requirements are 40 times the total bonus plus the deposit amount.

On Tuesday, players can again claim a 100% matched deposit bonus of up to $200. After this, you can also claim an additional 50% matched deposit bonus of up to $100. The minimum deposit for these bonuses is $100 and $50, respectively, and the wagering requirements are also 40 times the total bonus plus the deposit amount.

The same bonuses are also available on Wednesday and Thursday, and we like that you can claim two different bonuses every day. The casino does note that the offer will only be available to the cashier if the minimum deposit requirement is met. You must manually activate the bonus once you have made a qualifying deposit.

VIP and Loyalty Programs

Lincoln Casino claims its loyalty program offers exclusive deposit bonuses, comp points, bonus coupons, and more. When you first create an account with Lincoln Casino, your account will automatically be set at the amber level – provided you have deposited at least $25.

When you place real-money wagers, you will accumulate reward points. These are also known as comp points. Your account will automatically be upgraded when you reach a certain amount. You will enjoy the different bonuses and rewards on the next level.

For example, when you first join the casino – and are an amber player – you will receive a 10% bonus on any deposit you make throughout the day, and if this deposit is worth $35 or more, the value of this bonus increases to 20%. You will also receive a 150% matched deposit bonus on your first deposit.

When you earn 10,000 comp points, you will become a bronze player at Lincoln Casino. This allows you to claim a 15% matched deposit bonus on any deposit you make during the week, which increases to a 25% matched deposit bonus if this deposit is worth $35 or more.

It may sound like quite a confusing reward scheme. Still, in our opinion, it’s a generous one – and it’s not hard to see why the rewards program available at the casino has become so popular with players.

Any deposit made using a credit or debit card is credited to your account immediately, and you can choose to save your card details securely if you would like to save time later down the line.

Perhaps most notable, however, is that Lincoln Casino allows you to make and play deposits using three cryptocurrencies. At the time of writing, this includes Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin. The minimum deposit for Bitcoin is $25, the minimum deposit for Bitcoin Cash is $10, and the minimum deposit for Litecoin is also $10.

Cryptocurrency deposits are instantly credited to your account, and no fee is involved.

In addition to these payment methods, Lincoln Casino also allows you to fund your account using Neteller, Skrill, Neosurf, and ecoPayz. Some players can also use Paysafecard, depending on their country. The minimum deposit for these EWallets varies between $5 and 25 dollars, and all deposits are credited to your account immediately. Again, the casino does not charge any fees.

Two additional payment methods are available at Lincoln Casino – check and bank wire. However, these payment methods cannot be used for deposits and are only available for players making withdrawals.

Withdrawal Speed

Unfortunately, withdrawals at Lincoln Casino are processed quite slowly. For example, if you withdraw using a cryptocurrency, they state that it can take up to 48 hours for your withdrawal to be processed. In our opinion, this isn’t good enough, especially when many crypto-focused casinos today offer instant crypto withdrawals. The minimum withdrawal is also relatively high; for example, if you withdraw using Bitcoin, you will need to withdraw a minimum of $100.

All of the withdrawal methods at Lincoln Casino have very low weekly withdrawal limits. All methods aside from the check allow you to withdraw just $2500 per week, although if you make a withdrawal using a couriered check, you can withdraw $3000 per week.

There are also fees attached for some of the withdrawal methods. For example, if you withdraw using a cheque or a bank wire transfer, the fee is a whopping $45. Withdrawals made via Neteller and Skrill are free of charge, although they are still subject to the low weekly withdrawal limits.

In the future, we would like to see Lincoln Casino improve the banking methods available. While they offer a reasonably comprehensive selection of payment options, we don’t like the fact that there is such a limited selection of withdrawal methods, and the minimum withdrawal limits will likely turn away some players from playing.

We also find it bizarre that withdrawals made via a cryptocurrency like Bitcoin take up to 48 hours to process. In our opinion, it should take a couple of hours for the casino to verify and approve a crypto withdrawal. If Lincoln Casino wants to be taken as a serious player in the future, this is something that they’re going to need to address.

Responsible gaming

Unfortunately, another hallmark of many Curaçao-licensed casinos is that responsible gambling is relatively unimportant. For example, when you play Lincoln Casino, you cannot set deposit limits, loss limits, wager limits, or session limits. There appears to be just one responsible gambling tool at the time of writing – and this is self-exclusion.

If you feel you have a severe gambling problem, self-exclusion allows you to block access to your account for a minimum of six months. During the time that you have self-excluded, you will not be able to log in to your account, make any deposits or withdrawals, or play any of the casino games. Unfortunately, if you want to enter into a self-exclusion agreement, you must manually contact the casino’s customer support team.

Here at Casinomeister, we feel that it is essential for players to have access to self-exclusion facilities themselves. Making players contact the customer support team simply to self-exclude their account adds a layer of burden, which means some players may get sidetracked and avoid self-excluding.

Customer support

Lincoln Casino has a dedicated customer support team that works 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This ensures that you can get in touch with them regardless of what time you’re playing. At the time of writing, there are a few different methods that you can use to contact the customer support team, including live chat, telephone, and email.

We recommend using the live chat system to contact the customer support team, as this will allow you to connect with a trained operator in a matter of minutes. When writing this casino review, we found the customer support team to be very friendly and helpful, and we do not have any concerns here.

Like all casinos, Lincoln Casino is required, by law, to verify the identity of its users. However, you are not required to complete an identification check upon joining the casino – and it looks as though identification documents are only requested when it comes to you making a withdrawal.

This is a fairly common tactic we see at Curaçao-licenced casinos. The sites are happy for you to sign up and deposit as much money as you want – but when it comes to making a withdrawal, only then will they ask you to submit verification documents. Naturally, this is quite a significant problem as underage players can easily sign up without checks. The casino appears happy to take these bets as they do not automatically verify a player’s age when joining the site.

If you choose to play at Lincoln Casino, we strongly recommend verifying your account before making a deposit. Not only will this ensure that you won’t run into any problems surrounding account verification – but it also means that you will be able to enjoy faster and smoother withdrawals if and when you end up hitting a nice win.

To complete the account verification check, you will need to provide the casino with a copy of your photo ID and proof of address. The latter needs to be dated within the last three months, and they outline the different documents they accept on the terms and conditions page.

Website Experience and Features

As we mentioned earlier, the Lincoln Casino website is outdated. The main lobby looks outdated, and, in our opinion, this is one area where the operator should be looking to approve. If they want to compete with some of the larger online casinos operating in the iGaming world today, it’s not good enough to have such an outdated-looking website.

We don’t like the fact that so many of the games still run on Flash technology. Not only is Flash entirely out of date – but it also makes for a relatively poor playing experience.

Lincoln Casino claims that its website is fully mobile-optimized, and while this may be true to some extent – we definitely wouldn’t recommend playing here if you are looking for a site to play at solely from your mobile devices. The mobile-optimized version of the site is slow, clunky, and hard to navigate – and we would only recommend playing here if you are comfortable playing from your desktop computer or laptop.

One thing the casino does get right is the game navigation menu. For example, you can click on Featured, Slots, Table Games, Video Poker, Progressives, Speciality, and Mobile-Friendly games and sort the games by name and popularity. Unfortunately, we could not find a dedicated search function at the time of writing, so you cannot look up individual titles by name.

Brand games

Although most casinos today have chosen to go entirely with instant-play gaming, Lincoln Casino is one of the few sites that combines an instant-play platform with downloadable software. However, there are a few reasons to download the software today, as almost all of their games are available to play in instant-play mode directly through their website.

However, we should point out that you must download and install the software program on your PC if you want to play certain less-popular casino games. We should also point out that there is no Mac version available – so unless you’re playing from a Windows PC, you will not be able to download the casino software.

Unfortunately, instant-play games are a bit outdated, and many are not yet using HTML5 – the gold standard in today’s modern online gambling world.

In terms of games, Lincoln Casino does offer quite a unique selection of casino games that you will find at few other casinos. All of their games – which include video slots, casino table games, and video poker – are powered by a company called WGS Technology. WGS Technology is not one of the biggest names in the online gaming world. You are unlikely to be familiar with many of their titles unless you already have experience with this developer.

In the sections below, we are going to be taking a look at some of the different casino games you will be able to play at Lincoln Casino.

Lincoln Casino offers a decent selection of slot games to give credit where credit is due. You can find all their video slots under the dedicated slots tab on the main game navigation menu.

At the time of writing, there are more than 156 different video slots available to play. Some popular titles include Eastern Dragon, Bigfoot, Black Magic, Cool Bananas, Beat the Bag, Movie Magic, Paradise Riches, and Cash Cow.

Unfortunately, the design of many of these slots is entirely out of date – and when you compare them to the types of releases we are seeing from more modern developers like Nolimit City and Quickspin, you may end up feeling disappointed.

Live Dealer Games

Unfortunately, Lincoln Casino does not have a live casino at the time of writing. The main reason is that WGS Technology does not have live dealer games. However, for some reason, Lincoln Casino has chosen not to partner up with a third-party game developer like Evolution Gaming or Pragmatic Play.

Many online casinos that accept US players have run into this problem – and due to regulatory issues and licensing concerns, it’s not relatively as easy for them to simply begin offering live casino games from a provider.

In the future, we hope to see this change – but for now, if you are hoping to play live dealer games, then Lincoln Casino probably is not the best bet for you.

Table Games

If video slots aren’t your cup of tea, you will be pleased to learn that Lincoln Casino does offer a relatively decent selection of casino table games. You will find a few variations of the classics like roulette, Blackjack, and Baccarat. For example, in the Roulette area, you will find two variations – European Roulette and American Roulette.

When it comes to Blackjack, there are four different variations of the game, including Classic Blackjack, Vegas Strip Blackjack, Perfect Pairs Blackjack, and Single Deck Blackjack.

Several miscellaneous poker-inspired casino table games are also available, including Pai Gow poker, Caribbean Stud Poker, Casino Hold’em, Five Card Mulligan, and Red Dog. Craps and Keno are also available. Some other specialty games include Bingo Bucks Video Poker, low-stakes Pai Gow Poker, Bonus Poker, Poker Slots – and others, from the software provider formally known as Vegas Technology. Please note poker dice games and other specialty games may not be available to you if you live in certain countries.

Regarding video poker, Lincoln Casino does not offer the largest selection of games in the world, but the ones they offer should suit most players’ needs. For example, you can play Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, Aces and Faces, All American Video Poker, and Tens or Better.

Most video poker games available at Lincoln Casino can be played in single, multi-hand, and 100-hand variations. The minimum bets are usually relatively low, so you can begin enjoying many casino table games and video poker machines for as little as $0.10 per round.

Progressive jackpots

No online casino in today’s online gambling world would be complete without a selection of progressive jackpot games. Lincoln Casino may not offer the largest selection of jackpot games we have ever seen, but the selection available is generally sufficient for the needs of most players. However, you won’t find any big-name progressive jackpot titles like Mega Moolah or Divine Fortune – games that mainstream providers like NetEnt and Microgaming produce.

When we checked out the progressive jackpot section, we found a few games which offered five and six-figure jackpots. The most popular progressive jackpot game appears to be Mega-Money Mine, which offers a jackpot of, at the time of writing, just over US$120,000.

Some other popular progressive jackpot games include Treasure Trail, Win, Place, Show, Reel Poker Slots, and Red, White, and Win.

Like all of the other casino games available at Lincoln Casino, their progressive jackpot slots all look pretty out of date. You also won’t find any multi-million-dollar jackpots like you would expect to see at the majority of casinos in today’s world. However, if you are just looking to have a bit of fun – and have a chance of winning relatively small jackpots – you should be pretty happy with the offering available.

About the Team and History

Lincoln Casino was first launched back in 2013. The site is powered by WGS Technology – previously known as Vegas Technology – and while they are not one of the most well-known operators around, they have a reasonably strong reputation in the jurisdictions where they are present.

Lincoln Casino is well-known for accepting US players – although, unfortunately, like many US-facing casinos, the site is licensed and regulated by the Government of Curaçao. Many players have a relatively negative perception of the caps of Curaçao as they have been known to issue licenses to some very dubious online gambling operators. What’s more, they rarely appear to take action against those who are found to be in breach of their license conditions – and if you do run into any problems playing at a Curaçao-licensed casino, your options are relatively limited.

While Lincoln Casino does appear to have some strong points, we feel that its out-of-date interface lets them down. We also dislike that they do not hold a gaming license in stronger jurisdictions like the UK or Malta – and after almost ten years in the industry, we think it’s fair to say this won’t be making an appearance any time soon.

Complaints and Track Record

Generally speaking, Lincoln Casino gets a good reputation in the Casinomeister forum. In THIS thread, you can see some players voicing positive comments:

For example, here’s what Rockycatt said: “honorable mention to/for Lincoln casino payment in my hand in two days after approval, and approval was completed in three days docs and a resubmittal of cc card for a bit more info from it. IMPRESSED!”

And here’s KasinoKing’s take on the site – and some background about them: “Lincoln isn’t that new – it opened in November 2013.

They are a sister casino to Liberty Slots, who, if I recall correctly, went for a BBF here but only failed due to not being prepared to disclose where they are licensed (?).

Liberty Slots itself opened at the end of 2011 and used WGS software, which used to be called Vegas Technologies (or VTech) back in the day. There must be some link up to Cryptologic because they have many of the same games, except with more win lines.

Both casinos are reputable, IMHO, so I list them on my site. Glad to hear they are paying players quickly!”

However, experiences aren’t all positive, as THIS thread shows. However, it’s unclear what the final response was due to this complaint.
