Naama Kushnir has been promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer at 888 Holdings, filling the position vacated by Itai Pazner, who in January was unveiled as the group’s Chief Executive Officer. Kushnir, who was 888’s Head of Human Resources and also a Senior Vice President of the company, will report directly to Pazner.
Kushnir’s new role will be to oversee and deliver the company’s growth strategy. No doubt this will also entail looking after and managing the recent acquisition of BetBright’s technology and integrating it into the group.
Kushnir has been with 888 for eleven years and had been in the position of Senior Vice President, responsible for Human Resources since 2016. Prior to joining 888, Kushnir worked for law firm Herbert Smith Freehills, where she was employed in their Human Resources Department.
Speaking about the appointment of Kushnir as 888’s new Chief Operating Officer, a role that he held up until just recently, CEO Itai Pazner said: “We are delighted to announce Naama’s promotion which reflects the outstanding strength of the team we have in our business. Naama is a highly skilled, respected and experienced operator and I have every confidence that – alongside the rest of the operational management team – she will continue to drive 888’s growth and promote our company culture, vision and values in her new role. On behalf of everyone at 888, I would like to wish Naama continued success in her new role.”
Commenting on her appointment, Kushnir stated: “The group has made some hugely exciting recent acquisitions, including adding a sportsbook to its proprietary technology stack for the first time. I am looking forward to working across various functions in the group to support 888’s continued growth and strategic progress.”
