Pretty open and shut, no age verification required, clearly advertising a casino, however, this screenshot is from a compilation video



So you can't really blame Rizk or Nickslots if someone rips the content and reposts it (if Nickslots was following the rules, which he isn't, no age gating and streaming on Twitch still).

But, the fact remains, the video clearly has an advert for Rizk on it, and is available on youtube without age verification being required. That is a clear breach of the new regulations, regardless of if it was produced by Nickslots or not. I think the UKGC will eventually take action for this, and the only way I can see round it is to take out any on screen graphics advertising.
@rizkaffiliatemanager any reason you are allowing your affiliates to stream on twitch and not age gate youtube videos?

No, as there is no involvement of any UKGC licensee or partner - just 18+ would suffice as with other non-advertising or non-promotional content.
There wouldn't be any affiliate links anyway as these are banned by YT and when you get reported, you would get a strike.

Yes, the confusion lies in the fact the LCCP updates in July stated advertising must be age-gated with the third-party's own process, in this case YT's. The UKGC expects all licensees and their agents to adhere to the LCCP, so doesn't necessarily update their site every time the LCCP is changed, as licensees are expected to know this and enact those changes. So if the UKGC doesn't say it on their site directly, people think it's not happening. It is. The fact is that some licensees have picked up on the importance of this update (late!) and what it means and are now panicking to get affiliates in line when it comes to streaming/YT. As far as the UKGC is concerned, it's a case of give 'em enough rope...
The fact that not all licensees have realized the magnitude of the conditions and haven't yet contacted affiliates accordingly doesn't mean (as Chip says) that only some are enforcing it!!! ALL UK licensees must enforce it, irrespective of whether they've contacted the affiliates yet. We've seen this before, a change has been made, like for example making sure crucial terms are present in ads on affiliate websites and very few bothered. Suddenly, the UKGC jumps up and starts asking why and there's a big rush to get affiliates compliant. It's a logical step anyway, as TV and Radio advertising was targeted, then social media (some casinos simply forbade advertising on that medium as they weren't confident they'd be fully in control of the content) then it was e-mail marketing which had strict rules and again some programmes stopped affs from using regardless.

So now outstanding is YT/Twitch which as I said is the logical last step to complete the set of casino advertising mediums. If any casino here reads the July LCCP(6) edition, they will see the crucial paragraphs, like some have already and realize the big trap awaiting them. DO nothing, then the UKGC will suddenly target the matter and be rubbing their hands at the fines they can levy for not complying with the LCCP. "We didn't see it, we weren't aware" etc. simply will not wash. It's their responsibility to notice the LCCP updates. Watch this space....

I've just glanced through the video and didn't hear him say anything about people on here being jealous trolls, nor that we are wrong, just that Rizk haven't told him to stop so he's going to continue? Where in the video did he say those things?

While he should read up on things himself, I can say the Betsson group are one of the only ones I haven't had anything from regarding this.
