Major Online Gambling Operator Enters U.k. Market

Gaming Innovation Group to launch Guts.com and Super Lenny.com in the UK following grant of a Gambling Commission licence
Norwegian online gambling group Gaming Innovation Group, fresh from a successful SEK 400 million capital raising project and the achievement of a UK Gambling Commission licensing, has announced that it has launched its popular Guts.com and Super Lenny.com brands in the UK market.
The UK licence includes sports betting, allowing GIG to operate its proprietary brands in addition to third party operator clients and white labels through the group’s iGaming Cloud platform.
Group chief executive Robin Reed said in a statement Tuesday:
“The UK is amongst the most competitive markets for sports betting worldwide and entering the market is a bold statement of our intentions within sports betting and within our regulated market strategy.”
The UK launch follows the launch in Germany earlier this year of the group’s online sportsbook Wetten.com.
The burgeoning GIG group includes popular brands like Thrills, Kaboo, Rizk and BetSpin.com.
