And hope you all had a merry Xmas (lag or no lag, I do hope that).
And a happy new year to. I do have a question though, as I have noticed several casinoes have their issues with some of the providers like Yggdrasil, Netent, Microgaming etc. I know little of the architecture behind say the setup for rizk.com casino but given lagg occures in crowded or should I say good times I must assume there is 1 server working at full capasity and bandwidth between serice providers are not optimal from certain providers making you look bad. Or - you (as in rizk casino, or guts casino) lease a virtual machine at yggdrasil that is dedicated for your segment and their pricing is to high at the moment for an upgrade.
I havnt sees any explernation as of why things are lagging, and the times I have asked support (referring to any casino I have asked having this problem) they have never come up with an answer displaying any kind of knowledge of the problem. Maby not so sgtrange since many service operators are working from home in another country and get to work each time the phone rings using their own internet connection logging into some admin panel they get some player data or so from to complete their support phonecall. How on earth would one of theese people have any clue on what is going on in the infrastructure of servers that for the outside world is the casino. There are probably a few factors that may cause theese problems.
I would love to hear some objective attempt on illuminating atleast some of the areas making things lag so that I can understand where to shift blame.
If not I start thinking ... If something is wrong something needs to be fixed, and it is not being fixed so we should adress those that are supposed to fix this, then it will be fixed, all is wonderful. Who are they? Do they know of this problem already? Why havnt they started fixing this already? Are they not being paid? Are the servers being hacked? Hacked by people that lost money or people that wants money? Are the server running the software outdated? Have an owner of a casino ever seen their own server? Maby they are all placed in the garage to Netent and connection piped from there to website server?
I dont know and I never got any answers any time so either noone in support knows, sounds logical since they are usually never in house anyway, or its a secret so dark that noone must know? Prettu sure I could sniff up some previous MG software developers, I read most of them are attending GA aftert working at MG so they have to be pretty open about the technology begind their nemesis

(that was like an open invitation for anyone that knows someone working or worked at one of the major software developers to fish out some specs on server setup for a typical casino setup).
I recall rizk as a super fast casino, but I must admin last time I played there I said to myself: UUrrk, now this casino also have implemented this "slow spin" feature that makes playing no fun.
To be honest I wasnt sure it was a lagg or feature but it sure was horrible to play. Just like bgo.com which have removed the fastplay setting and complete spin setting so you have to see each and every god damn spin in slow motion as if it were interesting!
Whatever you call it, lagg or deliberately trying out new settings if the wheels cant spin fast I do not have time to play. Microgaming game have cycles of give or take 200 spins between bonus rounds on the larger ones 243 lines. Spinning 200 spins slowly when you know if there was a button that did 100 spins in 1 spins - you just got the result in 1 spin - I WOULD USE IT!
So if you are not able to improve performance, please forward my request to Netent and the other vendors - always make the slot be able to have a superfast spin if I remove sound and minimize graphics and hammer the mouse button like I was hoping for a spin each time.
And to the rebells that hate their lag but wager anyways, there are other casinos but dont forget:
why don't those that play use some screem recoring device and post some video of lagged gameplay so we all can enjoy it. Either that results in an explernation on what is going on, or it will be fixed. Heck - maby cyber warfare is about to take down the whole casino industry? Who knows!
