Casumo Source of Wealth issues

Good luck to everyone who is being made to play this abhorrent (and frankly unnecessary) waiting game.
I really do hope you all get paid.

But seriously, once you do get paid, I would run for the hills and not deposit a dime in Casumo again.
Their recent behaviour is not becoming of a CM accredited casino.

Winning is already difficult enough as it is. But what is the point in even trying to win on the slots if your
"reward" for doing so is to be subjected to a completely avoidable craptonne of stress and hassle at the hands of a casino who basically are telling you "You won. Congratulations. But because you have won, you have pissed us off. So we are now going to do the same to you".

I wouldn't touch Casumo with a barge pole, even if they were the current holder of the CM Best Casino award. How can a player be expected to trust the Casumo brand given all the BS moves they have pulled in recent months? They are making a mockery of their CM accredited status.

This is the kind of BS one would expect from a Curacao clip joint.

So I emailed instead of live chat and I got a reply after 10mins to say that my I'd was verified and my withdrawl processed but my SoW would be reviewed separately by a different department.... question is - now my withdrawl is confirmed can they cancel it off?

Seems they get away with pulling fast ones at every turn, and seemingly getting more cock-sure and brazen with every new fiasco they create

I've lost count of the stunts this outfit have pulled over the months that THAT has become award-worthy in itself. Perhaps "Greatest Casino To Defy Accreditation Rules And Find New Inventive Ways To Cheat Players Award 2020" - one to consider

But then I guess Casumo are some form of protected species round these parts. Strange really, as their behaviour is more befitting a 3.9 rogue pit of piss than a 9.3

Also not forgetting they have smiley cartoon characters adorning their site, one must never lose sight of that fact. That in itself makes them astro-accredited and surely worthy of a 1500/ 10 score on CM (something to consider going forward guys) :thumbsup:

they cancel my after 72 hrs,not sure what is going on,looks like some they not getting withdraw cancel

Really not knocking whoever does the CM casino clasifications but suprized they are still accredited,
see they longer accept UK players so at least they want be inflicting this crap on new players from here, maybe that non uk players are treated properly, but with the amount of complaints is it really a place to
recommend to people trying to find somewhere new to play with the mindset they seem to have towards
players, apologise if it sounds unfair to CM, I know you do a fantastic job.

Did you get the withdrawl confirmation email before they then cancelled? I just jumped on live chat and they said once it has been complete they can no longer reverse as it's out their hands?

no it was pending for 72 hrs,after 72hrs they cancelled,is total bs what they doing,some players withdraw get cancelled after 72 hrs some players withdraw is pending for 6-7 days,some player withdraw is blocktill sow get check,others get pay well waiting for sow to be check wtf they doing no idea

That's not good at all! I was panicking that they would now reverse it but the funds are in my account already!

There’s a lot being said that they don’t accept new UK players - even the CM review says that. But their site still has a welcome offer and is in pounds and aimed at UK players. So not sure where the idea they’re not accepting has come from.

She then apologised for my delay....

I saw a guy comment on a different forum that he had contacted via email for an update and he got the same reply I did and that his withdrawl would be processed and that his SoW would be reviewed shortly by the relevant team

they have just confiscated over 10k from a player after going through a SoW.
The timeline (if the person is telling the truth is
Deposited around £1950 over 2 days
Hit 12k, withdrew
SoW
Supplied the info, they said it was verified, but locked his account until he provided proof of the payment card
He did that
They then closed his account and are refunding him £1650 from the second day, using the rules:


25.1. We may close your Account at any time by giving you reasonable notice. Such notice will have the effect of immediately voiding all outstanding bets and wagers. Any balance in your Account at the time of such closure or any closure under Section 25.2 below will be paid back to you, except that:

a) if you have engaged in any illegal activity, in which case we will not be under any obligation to refund any money that may be in your Account; and/or

b) if we discover or have reasonable grounds to believe that you have participated in any of the activities listed in Section 25.3 below (each a “Prohibited Activity“) then we reserve the right to withhold all or part of the balance and/or recover from your Account deposits, pay-outs, bonuses, and/or any winnings that are attributable to those Prohibited Activities.

25.2. We may suspend your Account where we have reason to believe that you have engaged or are likely to engage in any Prohibited Activity and your Account will remain suspended while the matter is investigated. Should our investigation result in our reasonable determination that you have engaged in any Prohibited Activity, we may restrict or permanently close your Account. In such circumstances, your details may be passed on to any applicable regulatory authority, regulatory body or any other relevant external third parties.

25.3. Prohibited Activities:

i) if you have allowed someone else to use your Account or if you make bets or wagers using the Website through a third party or on behalf of a third party;

j) if you have played in cooperation with other player(s) on the Website as part of a club, group, etc., or placed bets or wagers in a coordinated manner with other player(s) on the Website involving the same (or materially the same) selections;

l) if you are found to be colluding, cheating, money laundering or undertaking any kind of fraudulent activity in relation to your Account or your use of the Games or Sportsbook;


He did say he had a transfer of £1000 from a friend who he was doing business with, which I imagine is the reason Casumo are citing the rules they are.

So the moral of that story is, if you have any deposits into your account that are from a friend or relative, or even a business debt, then don't expect to get paid.

I will also say that it's not entirely clear if the 'business' was a legitimate one, however, I would argue Casumo are not the judge and jury, if they believe the funds were not legitimate then they should submit a SAR, not just take the money themselves, they also shouldn't refund the deposits if the believe them not to be legitimate, so I don't personally think thats the case. I would sue them for that amount without a shadow of doubt.

I know a couple of people over there read this forum, so as I'm not a member, I would suggest he starts a formal complaint with Casumo, at the same time doing a SAR, to include all account information and notes for the past 6 months. If they suggest the scope of the request is too broad, tell them all the information is required ahead of legal action.
