Las Vegas Casino Review

A UK-focused casino from the ProgressPlay family

By Alex Smith, Last updated Apr 12, 2024

Casinomeister's Verdict

Las Vegas Casino is owned by ProgressPlay Limited and based in Malta. They operate under a UK and Maltese online gambling license. While there have been a few issues surrounding withdrawals and progressive jackpot payout delays, the casino maintains a good reputation. They are currently in the Grey Zone here at Casinomeister.

First Impression

Las Vegas Casino, launched in 2022, is operated by ProgressPlay Limited, a Malta-based company with online gambling licenses from the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK’s Gambling Commission.

The casino offers a semi-decent welcome bonus and several ongoing promotions. With over 1300 games from over 50 game providers, players have many options to choose from, including slots, table games, and live dealer games. The platform, however, does not offer bingo, virtual sports, Keno, or video poker.

A decent selection of UK-focused payment methods are available, including PayPal, although there is a one-day pending period for all withdrawal requests. Withdrawal fees also apply, which we don’t like.

The casino’s desktop website features a generic design with a black and gold colour scheme, but the mobile site provides a more visually appealing and user-friendly experience. This in-depth review is going to look at the casino in more depth; we’ll cover everything, from bonuses and promotions, to customer support options, reviews – and everything in between!

Pros

  • Decent selection of games

  • The website is simple and easy to use

  • Variety of live dealer games

  • UK-licensed

Cons

  • Deposit and withdrawal fees can apply

  • Some unfair terms and conditions

  • Limited payment methods

  • Withdrawal limit of $5,000/week (despite UK regulations not allowing this)

BONUSES AND PROMOTIONS

At Las Vegas Casino, new players receive a fairly average welcome bonus in our opinion. In addition to the main welcome bonus, Las Vegas Casino also features a few ongoing and one-off promotions as well as a loyalty program.

Welcome Offer & Deposit Bonus

Las Vegas Casino’s main welcome bonus is available to new players from the UK. First-time depositors will receive a 100% match bonus of up to £200 and 30 free spins to use on the popular Play’n GO slot, Book of Dead. To take advantage of this offer, a minimum deposit of £20 is required, and you must use the promo code C200L.

The free spins are valid for seven days, with any winnings transferred to the player’s bonus balance. The maximum conversion amount from free spin winnings is £100. Players have 30 days to clear the wagering requirements; 40X. As a UK-focused bonus, it’s also a parachute format, which means you play with your real money before dipping into the bonus. This allows you to make a withdrawal if you hit a nice win before using any bonus funds.

As the law requires, the UK’s deposit bonus terms are found here: “New players only. Opt-in Required. Wager from real balance first. 40X wager the bonus and the winnings from free spins. Contribution varies per game. Selected games only. Wager calculated on bonus bets only. Bonus valid 30 Days from receipt/free spins valid for seven days from issue. Max conversion for free spins: £100. Excluded Skrill deposits. Withdrawal requests void all active, pending bonuses. Full Terms Apply. Please gamble responsibly. Begambleaware.org.”

No-Deposit & Free Spins Offers

When writing this Las Vegas Casino review, we found the site doesn’t currently offer a no-deposit bonus. While this may change, it’s unlikely, as few UK casinos now provide such bonuses due to changing regulations.

However, the site runs ongoing and one-off promotions to keep players engaged.  Once signed up for a player account, users can opt-in to Midweek Action and enjoy free spins on showcase slot games or match bonuses on deposits with a minimum of £20.

Additionally, Weekly Reload bonuses offer match bonuses worth up to 50% when using the appropriate Las Vegas Casino promotion code.

VIP and Loyalty Programs

Las Vegas Casino’s Rewards Program is pretty standard – and all players are automatically enrolled upon registration.

To keep track of your progress, simply click on the trophy icon when logged in on your desktop computer, or find it in the menu on your mobile device. The program offers a variety of ways to earn points which can be redeemed at a later date.

“Missions”, for example, are a unique way of earning more points – and the online casino rewards players for completing these missions. You will also be assigned a “rank”.

Your rank will increase as you play more, and you’ll earn achievement badges that unlock exclusive offers and advantages. These levels and badges are similar to what Casumo did many years ago.

Once you’ve earned points, you can redeem them in the Rewards Store for bonuses, free spins, cash pries, and other various perks. It’s unclear whether the loyalty program is available to UK players.

BANKING AND PAYMENT METHODS

Las Vegas Casino offers UK players a decent selection of deposit methods. Most deposit methods are free (except for Pay Via Phone), and funds are instantly credited to players accounts. The site accepts all major credit and debit cards – with minimum deposits starting from $10 – and they also offer Trustly, MuchBetter, and ecoPayz, all of which have a minimum deposit limit of £20.

Additional payment methods include Pay-by-Phone, Paysafecard, and PayPal. You should also be aware that credit cards can no longer by used by UK players due to new regulations brought in by the UKGC. A full list of payment method options available to you is available from the casino’s banking page.

Las Vegas Casino Withdrawal Speed

Withdrawals at Las Vegas Casino remain pending for one business day, after which the processing time depends on the payment method. All withdrawals are subject to a 1% fee, up to a maximum of £3. The minimum withdrawal limits for each method are as follows:

Visa and Mastercard debit cards have a minimum withdrawal limit of £10, while Trustly requires a minimum withdrawal of £20. For PayPal users, the minimum withdrawal is £10. All these methods have a processing time of one business day and are subject to a 1% fee. Maximum withdrawal limits may vary depending on the chosen withdrawal method and individual player circumstances.

We really don’t like that fees are charged for withdrawals; this is a major red flag, in our opinion.

We should also note that players must complete a verification check before withdrawing funds. If you’re based in the UK, you must verify your account when you first sign-up. This is a legal restriction imposed on online casinos by the UKGC.

Responsible gaming

Las Vegas Casino takes responsible gambling seriously, providing players with options to manage their gambling effectively. Upon registration, players can set daily, weekly, and monthly limit amounts for deposits, wagers, and losses. All limits can be self-managed, through the “My Account” section.

As a UK-licensed casino, Las Vegas Casino is fully-intergrated with GAMSTOP, a self-exclusion service for problem gamblers. This collaboration allows players to exclude themselves from all UK-licensed gambling sites with one click (through the main GAMSTOP website), and it’s ideal for those struggling with their levels of gambling.

One of the significant benefits of playing at an online casino with a UK license is that the responsible gambling rules operators must follow are very strict – and you generally have a lot of protections at your disposal.

Customer support

Las Vegas Casino isn’t the best in the world for customer support, but they do have a small community which impressed us. Their Facebook page is a decent resource for learning about casino games, new slot releases, and more – although it doesn’t appear to be overly active. You can, however, use Facebook Messenger to contact the casino’s support team.

In addition to its Facebook page, Las Vegas Casino provides 24/7 live chat support in English. Here at Casinomeister, we always recommend live chat where available, as it’s fast and prevents you from waiting for email responses.

However, for players who prefer email communication or cases where the live chat representative cannot help, you can reach the customer support team by email.

Finally, Las Vegas Casino offers an extensive FAQ section that addresses many common questions and concerns. For example, you can learn about different payment methods, the Virtual Vegas Boosts, withdrawal methods, how to make a bank wire transfer, what high roller privileges are available, and how the site keeps your data safe.

KYC

UK players must legally confirm their identity upon joining Las Vegas Casino. In contrast, international players will likely be asked to complete a KYC check when withdrawing for the first time.

To complete the KYC check, head to the Cashier tab, click Verify ID and upload a copy of your passport or driving license. You will also need to provide proof of address by uploading a utility bill no more than three months old. You may be asked to prove ownership by sending a photo if you’ve used specific payment methods.

Even if you’re not a UK player, we advise uploading your verification documents when you join a casino.

This saves time when it comes to making withdrawals. It helps ensure you won’t encounter any unexpected problems; for example, some players self-exclude at one site, then join another, not knowing it’s part of the same online gambling industry group. This then voids their balance – something a KYC check upon account creation can help to avoid.

Website Experience and Features

image of mobile view of lasvegascasino welcome page with blurred promo captured on 5/25/2023Desktop and Mobile Gaming

Although Las Vegas Casino’s desktop is bland – generic, even – the mobile casino offers a much more appealing and user-friendly interface. The mobile site is visually attractive, with a clean layout allowing easy navigation and quick access to games. We think it’s actually easier to use the mobile casino than the desktop website.

Las Vegas Casino’s mobile site uses HTML5 technology, allowing players to access and play games directly through their mobile device’s internet browser. This eliminates the need for a dedicated app, although that’s something we’d like to see in the future.

The mobile casino also boasts an extensive selection of games, offering over 1300 slots, including the same Megaways games, live dealer games and table games. It’s rare for us to find a casino’s mobile-optimized site better than the desktop one – but that was certainly our experience at Las Vegas Casino!

Brand games

Providers

Las Vegas Casino offers a wide variety of games, all of which are available in instant play mode. The platform features games from renowned developers such as Iron Dog Studios, Inspired Gaming, NextGen Gaming, Microgaming, ELK Studios, Lightning Box, Blueprint Gaming, Scientific Games, Red Tiger, Eyecon, Thunderkick, Play’n GO, Evolution Gaming, SG Digital, Just For The Win, and NetEnt.

Players can choose from table poker, roulette, Megaways slots, video poker, live dealer games, video slots, jackpot slots, classic slots, themed slots, and blackjack. Unfortunately, bingo games, virtual sports, and Keno are not available.

We also don’t like that the online casino makes you log in before you can see the complete game library. Many potential players want to browse the range of games before signing up, so we’re unsure why the site has chosen to take this approach.

Slots

Las Vegas Casino has a good range of games – more than 1300, in fact, from over 50 game providers, giving you a vast range to choose between. You’ll find old-school slots, themed slots, and original games. Some of the most popular slots available include:

  • Book of Dead: This iconic Play’n GO slot takes players on an Egyptian adventure with handsome explorer Rich Wilde. The game’s expanding symbols and free spins features have made it a classic, and it’s possible to win up to 5,000X your bet!
  • Starburst: Developed by NetEnt, Starburst is a visually stunning, fast-paced game with expanding wilds and re-spins that can lead to big wins. It’s popular with new players thanks to its simplicity.
  • Rainbow Riches: This Barcrest slot uses an Irish theme, complete with leprechauns and pots of gold. The game offers several bonus rounds and a chance to win up to 500x your stake through the main Pots ‘o Gold bonus round.
  • Bonanza Megaways: Created by Big Time Gaming, this innovative slot utilizes the Megaways mechanic, offering players a whopping 117,649 ways to win. With cascading reels and unlimited multipliers during free spins, Bonanza Megaways offers near-unlimited win potential – although, in our opinion, it’s one of the most frustrating games to bonus!

Live Online Casinos

Evolution Gaming powers Las Vegas Casino’s live dealer section. Evolution Gaming is the clear market leader in live casino technology, and they’re famed for their high-quality streaming, professional dealers, and innovative games. Las Vegas Casino offers most of Evolution Gaming’s games, so there’s a lot to choose from.

The live casino features classic casino table games like live blackjack, live roulette, and live baccarat – so there’s plenty of “classics” to enjoy. In addition, Las Vegas Casino offers popular game shows, such as Crazy Time, Deal or No Deal, and Football Studio.

Evolution Gaming is also known for its unconventional live games, including Lightning Roulette and Lightning Blackjack. These games add unique twists to classic games using multipliers and increased payouts.

Players can choose from various tables, each with different themes, dealers, and betting limits, so they can find online live games to suit their budgets and needs.

Table Games and Video Poker

Though the range of casino games at Las Vegas Casino may not be as extensive as other sites, there is still a decent selection. Blackjack, roulette, and table poker are popular. We’ve seen worse selections. Unfortunately, we didn’t come across video poker.

We also didn’t see any instant win games; however, this could be because we weren’t logged into an account and could not view them. While the site offers the top slots, a good range of progressive jackpots, and a few casino table games, the fact that the online casino doesn’t offer video poker is a downside.

Progressive jackpots

While Las Vegas Casino’s progressive jackpot selection might be limited compared to other online casinos, the available options include some notable games. Mega Moolah, developed by Microgaming, is one of the world’s most well-known progressive jackpot slots, and for a good reason.

With a reputation for creating more than 30 millionaires, this game frequently makes headline news, as people have won multi-million-dollar jackpots from 25 cent stakes! There are four different jackpots, alongside a free spins bonus.

Divine Fortune, from NetEnt, is another fan-favourite progressive with an ancient Greek theme. The game features falling wilds, free spins, and wild-on-wild expansions that trigger in both the base game and the bonus. There is one progressive jackpot and two localized jackpots.

Eyecon’s Shaman Spirit is another progressive jackpot game you’ll find at Las Vegas Casino. While Eyecon aren’t generally known for their progressive games, Shaman Spirit is a decent game – and there’s a fair bit of action, including wilds, multipliers – and a free spins bonus.

About the Team and History

Launched in 2022, Las Vegas Casino is operated by ProgressPlay Limited, a Malta-based company that holds licenses from the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission. The company’s registered address is Soho Office, 3A, Punchbowl Centre, Elia Zammit Street, St. Julians, STJ 3154, Malta.

When we looked at the terms and conditions of the online casino, we found a few restricted countries. These are listed here: “Belize, British Virgin Islands, United Kingdom, Israel, Member States of the European Union, the United States of America and additional jurisdictions blocked by the Company at its sole and absolute discretion.”

Interestingly, the UK is listed here, as it’s a UK-facing site – but we’d guess this was because we were simply accessing the non-UK version of the online casino at the time of writing.

Complaints and Track Record

Generally speaking, ProgressPlay casinos have a good reputation at Casinomeister. There have been a few issues surrounding withdrawals and progressive jackpot payout delays on some other occasions, but overall, they appear to do a relatively good job.
