Vegas Casino Online Review

A Panama-based casino accepting US players

By Casinomeister, Last updated Dec 14, 2023

Casinomeister's Verdict

Vegas Casino Online has existed for nearly twenty years under the same ownership. Their payouts are relatively slow, and Panama licenses them – if this doesn’t bother you, check them out. They have a relatively active forum rep, so if you have any problems, perhaps they can sort it out.

First Impression

Vegas Casino Online is one of the Mainstreet casinos that has been around for years. It was once an Accredited Casino, but its terms changed for the worse for UK and EU-based players – and they were having an issue answering player complaints in the forum about slow payouts. So they were removed.

Vegas Casino Online, launched in 1999, has been offering online casino games to players for over two decades. They’re owned and operated by the Main Street Vegas Group and hold a gambling license in Panama. You should be aware that a Panama gaming license is barely worth the paper it’s written on – so don’t expect to see the same protections you get at EU or US-licensed sites.

The casino’s game library is powered entirely by RTG – so don’t expect to find anything from other providers. Unfortunately, there are also not any live dealer games – and you’ll find just a couple of specialty games, which means the game range is well below the standard you can find at many casinos today.

Vegas Casino Online offers a variety of bonuses and promotions, including a 100% matched deposit bonus for new players. While there is no no-deposit bonus or VIP program, the casino does run other promotions.

You can make deposits and withdrawals using Bitcoin, credit and debit cards, gift cards, and reloadable prepaid cards. However, withdrawal limits are very low; you can only withdraw $2,000 per week, or $8,000 per month!

Pros

  • More than 20 years of experience

  • Active Forum rep

  • Lots of RTG games

Cons

  • Weak licensing jurisdiction

  • Relatively slow payouts

  • $8K/month withdrawal limit

BONUSES AND PROMOTIONS

At Vegas Casino Online, new and existing players can take advantage of various bonuses and promotions. New players, especially – as there’s a welcome bonus available for first-time depositors. We’re always happy to see bonuses and promotions on offer at casinos, as they allow players to boost their bankroll – and play with more money than they would otherwise.

Vegas Casino Online offers something for pretty much everyone. The main welcome bonus is probably the “highlight” of their offering, but they occasionally run free spins promotions and offer existing players reload bonuses.

Welcome Offer

Any new player who signs up at Vegas Casino Online can claim a 100% matched deposit bonus of up to $1,000. The minimum deposit to claim the welcome bonus is just $25, which isn’t too bad, especially in 2023! However, players MUST input the bonus code shown on the site’s “promotions” page to claim the bonus. The bonus comes with a 50x wagering requirement, which is relatively high compared to other online casinos that typically offer 25x to 35x.

In our opinion, the wagering requirement are simply too high to make this bonus worth claiming.

No-Deposit & Free Spins Offers

Vegas Casino Online does not currently offer a no-deposit bonus. No-deposit bonuses are always popular with among players, and we’re always happy to see them here at Casinomeister. While the casino doesn’t currently offer one, we’ll update this review if and when that changes.

VIP and Loyalty Programs

Whether Vegas Casino Online has a dedicated VIP or loyalty program remains to be seen! We couldn’t find any information about it while writing this review. That said, the casino does offer bonuses and promotions to loyal players.

These change all the time, but they typically include monthly reload bonuses, birthday bonuses, and anniversary bonuses – and players in some countries can also take advantage of the refer-a-friend bonus.

It’s a shame not to see a VIP program – and it’s unclear why. It’s possible they run an invite-only loyalty scheme for high-rollers, but again, we couldn’t find any information about this.

BANKING AND PAYMENT METHODS

Vegas Casino Online offers a variety of payment options for players use. This include cryptocurrencies, credit and debit cards, pre-loaded cards, and gift cards.

The minimum deposit required is a reasonable $25, which makes the casino accessible to players with varying budget levels. The maximum deposit amount varies but is typically $500. This is very low – and may deter high-rollers.

Vegas Casino Online Withdrawal Speed

Withdrawals can be made using most of the same payment methods used for withdrawals – and the minimum withdrawal limit is usually $50. However, when it comes to limits – the casino is pretty strict.

The casino enforces weekly and monthly limits of $2,000 and $8,000, respectively. These are really low limits, and even low-rollers will probably be put off by this! Withdrawal speeds at Vegas Casino Online are generally good, with most transactions processed within 48 hours. It’s unclear whether they offer a “locked” withdrawal option.

If you’re happy with the limits, we’d probably recommend making deposits and withdrawals using crypto like Bitcoin, as this will minimize fees and withdrawal time frames.

Responsible gaming

In 2023, responsible gambling is as crucial as ever – and here at Casinomeister, we believe that all online gambling websites should offer easy-to-implement tools to help you stay in control.

Unfortunately, Vegas Casino Online seems to fall short regarding responsible gambling. We found no responsible gambling link in the footer, and we could not find any responsible gambling tools on their website. This is quite worrying, and doesn’t make the casino look very good.

We’d appreciate if the casino could also state what tools they offer – so that players can make an informed decision on whether they feel comfortable playing there or not.

Customer support

Vegas Casino Online offers support to players via email; the lack of a live chat portal is a major downside in our eyes, as players are restricted to waiting around for the casino to reply to an email.

However, we did test out the support, and we sent an email asking about withdrawal processing times, we had a question about the Bonus Deuces Wild game, and we asked a couple of generic questions about the RTG casino.

To the casino’s credit, we received a response within a day, which was satisfactory – but it’s a LOT slower than what you’d experience were you to use live chat.

KYC

KYC checks are an annoying yet necessary part of online gambling in 2023. They’re required by law to help casinos verify their players’ identity and ensure they’re compliant with anti-money laundering and fraud prevention regulations.

However, we didn’t find much information about how Las Vegas Casino Online carries out its KYC checks – if at all. It’s likely you’ll be asked to complete a KYC check when you make your first withdrawal; you definitely don’t need to do one when you sign-up!

This lack of transparency is concerning, as players may need clarification about the security and legitimacy of the casino. Reputable online casinos typically outline their KYC process and requirements, ensuring players know the steps they need to take to verify their accounts.

Website Experience and Features

Vegas Casino Online’s website is pretty dated, we feel. However, it’s functional, and navigating around isn’t too difficult. One thing we will point out is that we’re unsure if all games are mobile-optimized. If they’re not, this could restrict which games players are actually able to play.

There does not appear to be a downloadable software client for Vegas Casino Online, so you’ll need to play through your dekstop or mobile internet browser. While downloadable clients are generally pointless in today’s tech-y age, it would still have been nice to see one offered. We’d also like to see a dedicated mobile casino app in the future.

Brand games

Providers

Vegas Casino Online is powered entirely by RTG – so don’t expect to find games from any other providers. At Vegas Casino Online, players can choose from various games, including video slots, table games, and video poker. Unfortunately, no live dealer games are available at the time of writing.

Slots

Vegas Casino Online offers a decent selection of slot games, with several types – classic, video slot, and so on. Of course, all of the site’s games are from RTG, so don’t expect to see any Megaways or Netent releases!

All of RTG’s most popular slots are available, with a few of the most popular ones we found when writing this review including Coat of Arms, Mermaid Queen, and Polar Explorer.

Live Dealer Games

Unfortunately, there are no live games available at the time of writing. The lack of ANY live dealer games at Vegas Casino Online will, we feel, limit the appeal of the casino to some players, especially those who only play live casino games when they gamble online.

Table Games and Video Poker

When we were putting this review together, we were pleased to see that Vegas Casino Online offers a great range of casino table games. This includes many classics, including blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and poker. The casino also offers an extensive video poker selection, with popular titles like Jacks or Better, Bonus Deuces Wild, and Joker Poker.

In addition to the classic table games, the casino features some unique and specialty games, such as craps, keno, and scratch cards, although again, these games only come from RTG – so you don’t have the biggest choice to choose from.

Progressive Jackpots

Progressive jackpot games are always in high-demand, and Vegas Casino Online offers a decent selection to choose from. Some of the popular progressive jackpot games you’ll find at the online casino include Aztec’s Millions, and Cleopatra’s Gold – both offering exciting gameplay and big jackpot potential.

About the Team and History

Vegas Casino Online was established in 1999 and is owned and operated by the Main Street Vegas Group. This company also has sister casinos, including Las Vegas USA Casino.

The casino is licensed in Panama, which is basically meaningless. If you run into any problems, you’re very unlikely to even get a response from the regulator. Compared to well-respected regulators such as the UKGC and MGA, a license from Panama – or, indeed, Costa Rica and Curacao – is a concern for many players. However, we should point out that not all casinos operating under a Panamanian gaming license are “dodgy” – and Vegas Casino Online doesn’t appear to be like some of the other shady groups in Panama.

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to find a list of restricted countries when writing this Vegas Casino Online review. However, we should point out that the site does have an active rep in the forum – and this is really useful, as it means our members can send them a message and get personalized help and support!

Complaints and Track Record

If you’re thinking about whether or not to create a casino account at Vegas Casino Online, you might be wondering what actual players have to say about the site. Unfortunately, most threads in the Casinomeister forum are negative – although this is usually the case, as people don’t generally join forums and post positive experiences! We’ll show you what a couple of members are saying below:

One member, Kenny, wrote: “Basically after a long ‘conversation’ period (with many dead silences, lies, and whatnot on their part), the Mainstreet Group (Slots Plus, Sun palace, Vegas Casino Online, Las Vegas USA and Old Havana casino’s) decided not to pay out my winnings, and my accounts have been banned/closed completely.

My whole story can also be found on a different site. I had a complaint running, to no avail. You can see their replies there, with lies about when the manager would be there, etc.

I did not find these sites on your Accredited list, so I assume you already acknowledge them as scammers. Well, I’m not sure, but in either case, that’s the reason why I also did not notify the casino rep specifically for this complaint (I did let them know multiple times I’d spread my story across the whole internet however, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise. I hope I’m not violating any Casinomeister rules by posting this here, at least). The negative publicity and warning to other players is very warranted.”

Do your diligence before playing; we recommend choosing a Casinomeister Accredited casino, as you’re in very safe hands.
