What’s Happened to Club World Casino?

Once a consistent contender for top casino awards, things appear to have changed… and not for the better
Industry observers were speculating on apparent changes in ownership this week at Club World Casino, a long established and much respected online casino group that over the past decade was repeatedly the recipient of top casino and management awards.
The changes surfaced when Casinomeister owner Bryan Bailey removed the group from his site’s accredited section, where stringent requirements covering a casino’s management, integrity and consumer safety and respect are applied and monitored.
Bailey announced “with a heavy heart” that CWC has been removed following “a recent major change of direction that this casino group has taken.” He reported that the previous top management executive had left the group, and that since then there have been a number of changes that disqualify CWC from further accreditation.
Among these was a change in licensing jurisdiction, with no indication of the new licensing home, and a vague reference to an office in the Czech Republic on the CWC casino websites. There was also a reference to a firm titled Corrales Group, which apparently has no website or online presence.
Subsequent sleuthing by observers revealed that Corrales is an investment outfit, and that the Czech address belongs to the Affiliate Edge-AfCash affiliate marketing management company. The main investor in CWC now appears to be 2012 Cyprus-registered Wahale Holdings Ltd, with Abraam Kapiri, Maria Plakota and Nikolette Christoforoy on the board.
