Playtech And Pokerstars In Extended Content Deal

World's largest poker brand to launch third party slot games

Online gambling games developer Playtech has signed a content agreement with online poker provider PokerStars, extending its existing relationship with the world's largest online poker site and its fast-growing online casino.
PokerStars has gone live on desktop and mobile with a variety of Playtech titles, including progressive jackpot games and in-house hits, such as White King, Frankie Dettori and Great Blue. Other branded slots are lined up to be made available to PokerStars players, including Top Gun, Gladiator, and the forthcoming DC series, Playtech advised in a company statement Monday.
A further tranche of Playtech's games will launch shortly including the Age of the Gods series. Last month, Playtech unveiled three titles in a series of seven explosive Age of the Gods games that will be rolled out across the PokerStars brands. The games have been among the most successful Playtech launches with the titles immediately entering the top 10 across major licensees.
Shimon Akad, COO, Playtech, said: "We're delighted to have extended our existing relationship with PokerStars, one of the most established and well-known brands in the industry."
Sam Hobcraft, director of casino at PokerStars, said that the agreement will provide players with quality slots.
"In particular, their suite of Jackpot games will fill one of the final gaps in our product offering," he said.
