Follows Full Tilt and PokerStars withdrawal from over thirty non-regulated markets
Amaya Gaming Group's Ongame Poker Network has reportedly withdrawn real-money services from the same 30 markets it exited its PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker operations from earlier this week.
According to PokerFuse, Ongame skins Betsson, Poker Heaven, PAF, RedKings and Redbet are among those who ceased to offer real-money games as of October 1, 2014.
Players were informed via a pop-up once logged in to the poker room. Markets affected include Malaysia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait, Senegal , Nigeria, Bahrain, Afghanistan, Palestine Territory, Kenya, Mozambique, Rwanda, Vatican City, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Zimbabwe, Libya, Sudan, North Korea, Cuba, Myanmar and Yemen.
Amaya Gaming Group is expected to continue the withdrawal of real-money services from unregulated markets as it readies for re-entry into the U.S. regulated market.
