Dgoj Invites Online Applications

Slots and Exchange Betting in the mix for the first time

New regulations published in Spain's official Government Gazette late last week have led to the gambling authority Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGoJ) inviting submissions for online gambling licenses that include for the first time online slots and exchange betting.

The process is open to existing licensees who choose to expand their current offer and to new operators interested in operating in the Spanish market.

The updated regulations undertaken by the DGoJ and the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration fine-tune the license requirements process

to include updated provisions such as security requirements of license applicants and technical gaming system requirements.

Application submissions opened on November 1, 2014 and will close on December 9, 2014 at 13h00.
