Slow and steady wins the race

Kansas native Jason Brin has bested a field of 1 175 to win the inaugural WPT Choctaw Main Event along with a $682 975 pay check.
Played out in Durant, Oklahoma, Brin emerged victorious from heads-up play with Andy Hwang who was attempting to win his second WPT title.
Brin, the owner of a carpet store, also pocketed a $15400 entry into the WPT World Championship and a Hublot Oceanographic 4000 watch.
