Videoslots refusing payment

@RamonaMc
Being a WOMAN it's very difficult to MAN UP! but thanks for the sexist opinion.

Yet another person who fails to read everything and types before reading.
I said about 2 pages ago what I'd be doing, the fact there are still conversations going on isnt a problem to you is it? I mean this is a forum where people discuss things isnt it?
Nobody is special, just man up and do what they ask you to provide if you dont have anything to hide, I give creed to @Videoslots for handling this in a polite matter.

I wouldn't give SOW to any casino either. Just out of principal.

Also, if you're a company director, especially this year, it would be a minefield trying to explain SOW lol

99% of casino will do this one way or the other. You dont think about it just send in and if its clean then you get to keep playing. We are not freedom fighters its not war lol.

@RamonaMc Welcome to the real world, man up and send in proof so you can forget this ever happend. I agree they should request Sow in my opinion right when you deposit first tim, So you dont have to deal with this bs all the time.
Wouldn't matter as SOW is intended to be an on-going exercise/dynamic risk assessment so, even if you did, chances are if your play changed etc etc later on, you'd get it again. It's not a one stop shop exercise (and nor should it be - otherwise folk would be squeaky clean at first deposit if they thought they were only getting asked once at the start)

I do not see what the actual big deal is to be honest. The email clearly states "Relevant" And now @Team.Videoslots has now also said the same thing. I mean it is not rocket science....... People just need to read emails properly before jumping to conclusions.

I would for sure hate it if you did own a company and had various sources of income though. As that would be painful having to provide a document for each source of income you get each month....

I on the other hand am lucky and only have 1 source of income. So it will not be difficult for me. I can just send them my bank statement and they can see what my source of income is and comes from.

I mean I am not keen on sending my personal bank statement as it shows all my personal transactions etc etc and everything. So very intrusive. But it is now LAW and we have to when it is our time to provide them we have no choice if we want to continue to play at a specific casino!.......

@Team.Videoslots - So what happens if and when a player gets the SoW request and the casino decides based on that SoW that the player can only afford to deposit X amount each week or month? Would that be enforced going forward? That would not be very good though if you have no limits up until that point then get slapped with a disgusting weekly deposit limit of £20-£100 depending on your income? That would just stink.

As if we win elsewhere it basically then means we can not deposit it at that casino you have done SoW in because of the new fixed deposit limits that the player can not change?!

You might have seen it earlier in many many threads, when somebody disagree with casino, then it often goes off from topic itself and turns to be fight about one word use in one email or what so ever... It's human nature that you might come really selective in your arguments when not agreeing with something.

But conclusion here seem to be quite clear, OP is not willing to provide anykind of SOW, so VS now decide if they file SAR or not (probably they do as it's their own safe) to ask consent to release funds to OP and when NAC don't reply anything as usually, after certain time they can take no reply as consent and will payout OP:s dosh and we get happy end.

Agree, but still its just about sending it and be done for now. If it comes in the future then do the same as before. Not rocket science.

Well im surprised many of you or taking the casinos side.

It's pretty straight forward, yet again we see a casino with holding funds to a player & clearly using & abusing the system.

Look at the end of the day the casino videoslots was more than happy to keep taking deposits, you can dress it up all you want but that's clearly what's happening here. If there was any doubt with the account or funding they should of locked the account down way before, if the casino had sent out a email requesting sow or whatever, then they should of locked the account down after a few days after & requested it again with the account locked until this had been done.

It's pure greed in my eyes nothing more or less.

I hope the OP stands her ground, the op isnt asking for a loan credit or anything else, it's down to the casino & crappy following of what the ukgc are required to do, why not flag the account at 15k ??? Same old bull sadly.

Hi,

@DreamRJ -- In your example, our AML obligations should be satisfied. On the other hand, it would be alarming for different reasons. We would discuss the spending together with the account holder, and a potential outcome could be forced limits. It isn't easy to give one answer that fits all, as the scenarios are likely to be different.

As we are going off-topic here, please drop us a PM if you want to discuss this further.

Best regards,
Team Videoslots

Hi @RamonaMc,

We have established that we have no intention to withhold your funds but act according to the UKGCs regulatory framework. As Slottery explained, if the SOW is necessary but not obtained, we can only process the withdrawal once certain conditions are fulfilled. When and if possible, we are happy to process your payment. I hope that explains the next step in your situation.

If we can clarify further, you are warmly welcomed to reach out to us at any time.

Have a nice evening.

Best regards,
Team Videoslots
