So I was told a pack of lies in my email then by being told only two games were affected.

And you are surprised why I am a little suspicious about it all.

So the games that I played were affected though I never played any bets with a zero balance (why would I, I thought that I busted!).

How can you guarantee that the games played correctly over this 48 hour period, cash balance or otherwise?

And my point about no wagering shown in my screenshot of last Sunday has never been addressed.

No, you were told what Videoslots believed to be true at the time. They can only go on what Edict were telling them, and I'm sure it was passed on with the best of intentions. They're not obliged to tell you every single detail either, because some of it is none of your business. The *** state of some people in this thread ffs.

Why so hostile? They said it was a mistake and then corrected themselves. Calling it "lies" implies they intended to deceive you and there is no evidence of that.

If you want the casino reps to be here to discuss this stuff you need to show a little civility. So maybe chill a bit with the agro accusations?

We apologize for any wrong information that has been given out, we are not trying to lie or deceive anyone. The issue was not that the games paid out wrong it was that the bets did not register and therefore players could win without betting. Regarding the screenshot, is your wagering from the 22nd still not showing? We are more than happy to assist you further in any way we can.

I asked them to properly investigate the matter. It took them two days to reply to me, more than enough to establish that the games I played were affected. We are a week later into the investigation and I don't for one second belief they only found out this morning that all games were affected. They said they already wrote to all affected players so why tell me only two games?

For me it is all about being honest to your customers as well as being transparent. No agro accusation on my part at all.

Hmm.... they replied at 7AM this morning to me via email telling me two games were affected and only when I reported it here did they correct it.

And my state is fine, f-ing or otherwise :)

Fine, then say that instead of making inflammatory accusations. Being hostile is counter-productive.

The wagering showed again on Monday just gone but it didn't on Sunday as per my screenshot hence my suspicion about it all.

At the end of the day, something seriously went wrong between your casino and the Edict server so don't be surprised that players will ask questions about the integrity of the game play during that 48 hour period of time. Your mixed messages haven't helped at all.
 
I am not affected, I am observing from the side. I do think that this is a major issue that needs proper communication cause trust is the most important part between player and operator, so any conflicting or unclear information is going to create friction.

And to state that interlog is hostile and needs to be civil is just a tad overdramatic. Let's stay on the issue here, something unacceptable has happened and the handling of it has been far from ideal. Players have the right to vent when issues this severe arise.

No one has "the right to vent" although everyone has the right to raise an issue and discuss in a respectful manner. See Forum Rules if you need to refresh your memory on this.

The issue was that bets did not register correctly, winnings were still paid out so that is not part of the malfunction.

How can the same slot malfunction for some players and not others within the same time period? I’m sure this isn’t the case, but it sounds like you are saying winning players had a malfunctioning slot but losing players did not. Perhaps a bit of clarification would help.

Not sure if this was directed at me, but I was told at 7AM this morning via email that only two games were affected. By then, Videoslots knew it was all of the Edict/Merkur games.

I called that a "pack of lies" and stand by it. Whether deliberate or not, I was given the wrong information which is very disappointing because they were meant to thoroughly look into my query. To be told my games were not affected (when they were) because it was not one of the two original games mentioned, makes you wonder how thorough that investigation was.

My last word on this, the way that this has been handled by Videoslots was not ideal. The mixed messages given have not helped them at all.

As to whether they told you a pack of lies as in they deliberately tried to deceive you - I really don't think that personally but you are entitled to your view too obviously

However if people carry on like they are at the moment - I can see VS reps turning into Leo Vegas and Guts reps - lost in space !!
 
Ok guys, I think we agree that VS could have handled this better and interlog is welcome to his dissatisfaction with them.

That said the point remains that basic civility toward them, or anyone else for that matter, is and will be expected of everyone here.

"Venting", if it involves insults and/or attempts to discredit or belittle, is not a right and is not welcome here.

As Borgie said, abuse the reps and we'll lose them, to the detriment of us all. Trust me, I know this all to well because no small number of reps have backed off from the forums for exactly those reasons. Of course there needs to room for fair criticism and that is indeed the goal, but outright hostility and abuse is unnecessary and uncalled for in these discussions.
