Hi guys,
i have one question for you and would be happy if someone can answer that.
Lets assume there is only one online casino out there. This online casino licensed only one slot. This one slot has a theoretical RTP of 96%.
In that online casino only two players are playing the whole time.

Player1 made a really good win on the slot and get an RTP of 104%. Then Player1 stopped immeadiately playing.
Now whats the most likely real-RTP-outcome for Player2 who still continues playing with a very lot or unlimited spins:

1. Player2 will end up at 96% RTP
2. Player2 will end up at 88% RTP

Thanks
Andy

You are talking about the concept of compensation if you're thinking Scenario 2 is the answer, online slots are random and are not compensated. therefore Player 1's results and Player 2's results are entirely independent of each other.

Eventually Player 1 and Player 2 will, given a sufficient number of spins, reach the T-RTP of the slot, but their results along the way do not influence the other at all.
Years ago, I did develop a software rng which was as close to true as i think you can get,any number of any size could be entered and eventually would spring a match ( bit like the Enigima Bomb), could take many hours.Old enough to remember when the first electronic machines used reverse biased diodes to produce white noise, that worked pretty well.
One thing that can help towards true randomness is incorporating outside influence, eg length of time between button presses.
Not argueing that sofware can produce true randomness but even white noise may not be perfect over trillions of passes

I have records going back 5 years on my daily playing and there's been a really dramatic fall in winnings over the last 4 or 5 months, where before that it was pretty much consistent.
Same here. I have records going back 10 years. And I have also noticed a sharp downward RTP change starting April this year. Can this be a coincidence, especially when at the same time not one day passes without another casino reducing its official slot RTP settings (something that never happened in the industry before).

FTR that's not entirely true. Back in the early days -- we're talking 2002-3-4 -- there was a rash of RTP ups and downs, I believe connected to the RTP "verifications" that Price-Waterhouse-Cooper was doing at the time.

Covid and lockdowns worldwide happened around April.

Whole world economy shrank = less money people losing for you to be able to win.

Well, just had one of the worst experiences ever at a casino, Magical Vegas.
Deposited £20, opted into a free spins promo, then started playing Halloween Jack at 20p a spin.
Wagered more than the required £20, but it was one of the very worst games of HJ I've ever played, and I've played hundreds of them over the years. All dead and losing spins, very small winning spins, no free spin rounds, but when I was down to about £1.30 I was thrown out of the site, so didn't have any chance to keep playing. Finished the money off on Jumanji (didn't take long unsurprisingly), then noticed I didn't get the free spins either.
But that's just the start, because my wife also has an account there, but neither of us had played there for a long time. I wanted to see what happened, so she logged in, deposited £20 and opened Halloween Jack.
I then watched an almost carbon copy of the game I had just played, almost spin for spin the same, all dead and losing spins, very few but small wins, and the only difference was it went into a free spin round and won an amazing 79p. It then continued to play identically badly until the money went down to £1.05 and we were thrown out of the site, at almost exactly the same time, around 30 mins.
Coincidence? Who knows, so I logged back into my account and contacted live chat, told them what happened (nicely), got the usual answers about having no control, but was told I wasn't opted into a promo. I went to look and it said I was opted in, but when I tried to get back to live chat it had closed, and I couldn't get back in.
So, just a heads up, stay well clear of Magical Vegas, because from now on I will.
