Getting used to it now.

Noticed a bug.... in IE (yeah I know) you have the menu bar hovering over the page:

Greetings one and all.

As you can see, we have a new home. There are many things that are like the old vBulletin forum - and then there are things that are totally different.

First thing you might notice is that PMs are called "Conversations". It may seem strange at first, but once you get used to it, you're going to like it better. There is no limit (in vBulletin you had a limit of x amount of stored PMs). And here you can add people to your conversation - depending on your level of membership.

Please feel free to mosey around and use this thread to post and issues you are having. It is going to take a number of days to make sure all user groups are functioning properly, etc., and I am sure there are some things I have over looked.

And please be aware that this is NOT the final product. We have a number of awesome bells and whistles in store.

Ok, might be a slight snafu with the PAB submission process. Seems when you click on "Submit a PAB" you get a pop-up that asks you to search for a form (?). Not great. Anyway you type PAB and that takes you to the submission page. Not sure where it goes after you select "Submit".

Also, the 'Top' button at the bottom of the page is no longer there, this was quite handy. Perhaps it can be reinstalled?

Ah, now I get it. Didn't realize that once you've clicked on that you need to click "Player ArBitration - PAB in the page that comes up.

seems good and certainly fresh looking,

hopefully that strange menu bar hovering up and down will go away, and not to hard to navigate,

took a few minutes to work out how to post mind you you cant just click reply to tread unless its just me

I'm not using Firefox, forget it. That 'browser' is disease-ridden.....I'd rather use dial-up to Russia!

Will we get the "members who have visited today" list back? I use that many times to see who was here.

Also, certain sections use to be "collapsible"... I used that a lot to make the length of the forum shorter so as to scroll a lot less.

Yep, and I am locked out of all the affiliate threads and numerous others that I previously had permission to post in, and now haven't! Which is a shame as I ahd an important post about the recent Leo Vegas big FU to UK affiliates.

@dunover - no worries. I've been looking into this. The thing is that you belong to 5 (count 'em 5!) user groups, so there is a conflict here.

As for the black menu bar, the coder guys are looking into this. It seems to only be happening to peeps who are not admins, moderators, or tech folk!

I log in, look at a thread .. I might close the tab for a moment and come back two minutes later only to find out I'm logged out again. Why?! I've already ticked the Remember Me in the login bar of course, but that doesn't help at all. My info is ready there and I can simply click login but I'd rather not have to go through that ten times a day.

Also is it not possible to get rid of the empty box (avatar) above our names? I've deliberately not used avatar in casino-related forums for years now, because the stuff I'd use is probably not the stuff you want to see, but having that empty box now above everyone who has not set an avatar is also dumb. It also makes shorter posts unnecessarily "long" in the page as having the box has to extend the height of the post even if I only write a single sentence.

I felt like i had the same prob and thought of mentioning it.
Then noticed i hadnt clicked the "keep me logged in" as well as the "remember me" box. Felt a wee bit of a tool tbh
