Ok, a new thing we're going to do here on the forums is provide a bit of a round-up each week of the top forum threads, highlights, popular or interesting bits that you might have missed and/or be interested in.

To kick this off, Forum Highlights for Week 38 of 2023, Monday 18th through Sunday the 24th of September:
  • First up is Bryan's notice regarding a useful but little-known forum feature: You have a history at Casinomeister. As he said in his intro:
Did you know that you can see your browsing history here in the forum? Yes, it's true - you can refer back to any threads you have been either reading, or responding to. Gone are the days of - where is the thread I was just reading. LOL
  • Next most popular thread this past week was Stake, Streamers and Crypto Casinos, wherein our own @News Hound responds to on an article published by Sky News where they've reported on their latest discoveries of casino industry horrors. As he says in his article:
So waking up this morning and what do I see? Sky News with their lead story concerning offshore ‘Crypto Casinos’, streamers who utilise them and Stake. With Sky stating that these crypto casinos are illegal to play at if you are based in the UK and in turn thanks to streamers, pulling in many gambling addicts in to play at them.
  • The 3rd most popular forum thread this week was part of our ongoing series Curaçao 2023 wherein we discuss the upcoming licensing changes in Curaçao and how they might affect players casino options and playing habits. Curaçao licensees may have an easy time of it after all relates to a recent discovery that Curaçao appears to have given current licensees the opportunity to transition to the new licensing regime under the old licensing laws thereby avoiding some of the less palatable features of the proposed new licensing regulations. Or so it would seem: these days pretty much everything about the new Curaçao licensing laws seems to be up in the air and subject to change without notice.
  • Number four on our list was the discussion of a casino News article regarding Gamcare's proposal that UK bets be capped at 2£: Responsible Gambling Charity supports max bet limit on slots. Sounded like another move designed to drive UK players offshore to a good many of our readers.
  • Last but not least the ever-popular Videoslots presents Battle of Slots! : 2 million views and 43000 posts on a seven year-old thread that is still going strong is pretty exceptional. I remember the day back in 2015 when Videoslots asked us what they could do to announce their new Battle feature and we suggested posting about it on the forums. Did any of us imagine where that would go? Not I!

Not sure why I didn't clock this earlier; this could very well be the reason several big-name Curacao/crypto sites have started actually enforcing KYC checks in the past 2/3 days.
