In recent weeks it has come up several times that Casinomeister needs to have some mechanism in place for our readers to flag casino reviews as being outdated and/or in need of correction. One of our leading forum members puts it thusly:
That is an excellent summary of the problem and starting point for discussion on what we should put in place to address this issue.
One suggestion that’s come forward is to add the Report mechanism to the casino reviews, as we currently have on forum posts:
As @dunover brought up that’s not ideal because only staff see the Reports, meaning that other readers would be unaware of previous issues that had come to light.
Another idea is maybe a Comments section below each review, for obvious purpose.
So, that’s where we’re at for now. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Opinions? Please feel free to comment below.

… The review section is one of the major gateways into the site, and by extension the forums. As someone who has previously questioned a number of reviews for their accuracy and/or tone (of which some were resolved and some were not):
- going forward, what oversight (if any) is there from the rest of the business - including the CM forum team - for these reviews?
- going forward, what feedback mechanism - for the community as well as staff - will there be to correct and/or dispute reviews?
That is an excellent summary of the problem and starting point for discussion on what we should put in place to address this issue.
