Looks great so far. One bug i noticed: The stay logged in function doesnt seem to work. Had to login again after i left the site and came back later.


And with the ne design its really about time for me to get an avatar

Yeah, for edit links etc., these are the permissions that I am working on. When you belong to more than one user group, some permissions are inherited.

I was attempting to PM a rep and it appears to me that I was reading the reps persons messages which often included the messengers personal details. I was not able to message this Rep

Thats a pretty serious bug!
I've just opened a pm to a couple, and it didn't happen for me, but if it is happening, then PM's should be turned off til its sorted surely?

Yep, and I am locked out of all the affiliate threads and numerous others that I previously had permission to post in, and now haven't! Which is a shame as I ahd an important post about the recent Leo Vegas big FU to UK affiliates.

I felt like i had the same prob and thought of mentioning it.
Then noticed i hadnt clicked the "keep me logged in" as well as the "remember me" box. Felt a wee bit of a tool tbh

That's not it. There's no such box as "Remember me" in the login page. (Yes i know that's what I said earlier that the box was ...). There's only Keep me logged in and I can't tell you how many times I've ticked that box today for apparently no reason at all.

Upon further testing I've found that whenever I log-in in the front page, and then refresh the main page, it'll claim that I'm not logged in. If I go to any existing thread, it'll magically show me as logged in again BUT as soon as I go to the main page I'm apparently not logged in anymore. WTF?!

Extremely annoying because it means I can't see my alerts from the main page at all, let alone anything else that is relevant to being logged in ..

I'm having an issue..but not sure if I'm being dim. I'm trying to attach screenshots from my mobile in posts like I usually do...but the normal photo option isn't seeming to allow it. I can upload files using the link below the message (I assume they'll be added below the text?), but I often add some text, then a photo, then more text etc....

That aside, even when I tried uploading the files it says they are too large to upload...

Not sure if this has been mentioned/discussed already? Xxx

Fair one.
I got logged out 5 times in 5 minutes before clicking to stay logged in and have been logged in ever since. Just assumed it would of been that since it was why it kept happening to me. Me continuing to be a tool, i had it come up on my tablet asking to remember me but a tablet request not a website request. Well, hope it works soon for ya anyway

Hahaha! I had a similar issue to greylady and half a head, then I couldnt see what I was clicking on, at one point it cropped to just boobs... much as about 75% of you would have loved that...computer said no!

Hi,i just opend a new account( old account OSCAR ARNHEM) because its NOT possible for me to log in with my old account (Facebook log in) .

When log in with chrome i get this message(
Not Found
The requested URL /forums/register/facebook was not found on this server.

When i try to log in in IE i get this url ,and also not possible to log in

Nicola, I was having the same issue on phone and laptop, I clicked the 'Remember me' box and logged in on a different device and I've had no issues since.


And also I accidentally discovered that if you're posting on one device and it dies - if you log back in or log in on a different device, your post is autosaved and still there... The amount of times I've been mid long reply when my phone dies, this makes me a happy bunny!!

Slight bug, which might cause problems.

You don't seem to be able to see a members previous posts, from before the transfer. While its not a major problem (unless you are a stalker ) in comps where the rules are (for example) need to have made 1 post betweem Jan 1st 2017 and 30th November 2017, it will be impossible to check

The ignore function is much better now though, it actually completely removes posts from sight, still can see the,m in quoted text though.

I have to say on the whole it's a huge thumbs up from me so far, despite the minor teething problems

It's so much easier to navigate, the whole look/layout is a 1000x better and apart from the autosaved draft thingy, I also love the new alerts feature; I've missed numerous PM's in the past that have been buried between like notifications etc...

The menu bar issue is fixed my end and I've not been logged out during inactivity or between switching threads/devices etc in at least an hour or so, so big kudos to whoever is working like a Trojan to get it all hunky dory!

Now if I could just have my go to laughing '' emoji back and a new heart or a blowing kiss emoji, I'd be a super happy bunny indeed! (Insert emoji here)

Personally I think vBulletin is a better forum than Xenforo for desktop users, but I understand why you made the change, I looked into it last year for my forum but decided against it. Xenforo seems better for mobile users.

I'm not getting email notifications of replies to threads I'm subscribed to, not sure if thats a setting that needs changing or if it isn't an option on here?

Once I have the chance to really work on the site, you will feel like it's the "old" Casinomeister. The coders who developed this software were the same development guys who put together the forum software that we used from 2003 - 2010.

Well Bryan, I did my first screenie post on the new forum and after some trial and error, it's pretty much "as you were" in that regard.

The only thing I want now is to be able to edit my posts. (NB. I've read nikantw's post (post #91).

First impressions are very positive. Lovely job.

I always had the old forum on 30 - can't stand only 10 at a time!

There seemed to be a lot more private information on view than I would ever dream of disclosing to other peoples eyes such as account details. But why listen to me?

And is it a forum members fault if they have not read once never mind "time and time again" that there where questions asked about profile/private messages?
I have never read such information on any reps profile page.

How to apply to the Meister Minion group ( On a related note, I tried to join the group before the forum upgrade and the link gave me a "You do not have permission" error. Can you put me in the group if people are allowed to join it still? )

Yep, we have new FAQ and rules pages - they just haven't been redirected.
