I thought it would be appropriate to take a moment and share some sorrowful news.

Our friend Laurie has lost her husband Jim today. He was experiencing chest pains this morning and was rushed via ambulance to the hospital where he suffered an aneurysm and passed away.

Jim was a very decent man with a fantastic sense of humor and a giant heart. My wife Cynthia and I want to express how very sorry we are to hear of the loss of this good man.

Rest In Peace Friend

Laurie my deepest sympathy and prayers go out to You & The Family & Friends.
I am so sorry for your loss Laurie
And you know I am only a phone call away if you ever need me.
RIP Jim & may God bless you.
Peace be with You.

Laurie, I am so sorry for your loss, and I know how bad you must be hurting right now. I am here for you if you should need anything, and know that my prayers and thoughts are with you.

Laurie, my heart breaks for you and I will hold you up in my prayers. Life is always so uncertain for all of us and we are so fortunate when we find that special someone that makes our lives complete. We treasure every moment that we are blessed to be together and forever hold them in our hearts and our memories when they are gone.
But just keep in mind, that he has simply gone ahead to make a new place for the both of you and you will see him again.

With my Love and Prayers,
Evelyn

No Person is Ever Truly Alone
by Richard Fife

No person is ever truly alone.
Those who live no more,
Whom we loved,
Echo still within our thoughts,
Our words, our hearts.
And what they did
And who they were
Becomes a part of all that we are,
Forever.

I honestly can't imagine Laurie's loss, how devastating that must be. My condolences to her and her loved ones.

I am shocked to have awaken to this sad and sorrowful news.

I fortunately had the privilege of meeting Jim a few years ago in Tunica with Laurie. Despite the relatively short amount of time we would get to spend together, it was obviously apparent to me that Jim was a true Southern gentleman whom clearly was a devoted and loving husband and father.

I was very appreciative that Jim and Laurie had traveled to Tunica to offer their support to me having reached the finals of a Blackjack tournament. They did this despite the fact that at the last minute they would be delayed as another of their close family members had experienced an unfortunate situation but once Jim and Laurie were comfortable all would be well at home, they still insisted on making the now, late night and exhausting drive to Tunica.

Thereafter, Jim and I would chew the fat on occasion regarding our mutual interest in the current and future state(s) of the middle Tennessee residential construction industry. Jim was a long time and respected owner of an electrical contracting business in middle Tennessee.

Jim, a caring, devoted and loving man of family will be deeply missed by many. My thoughts are with his entire family in this time of sorrow.

I know Laurie is too proud to seek any type of help. That said, as most whom's livilihood depends on the residential construction industry, her families' finances could be very tight. No one deserves that additional stress especially under her current circumstances.

Cindy maybe you and Bryan can coordinate setting up a Family Fund for Laurie as I know she has lots of friends at all levels of the online industry. However, it gets done I wish to contribute.

When God gave you to me he never said that you were mine,
that I could keep you always--only borrowed for a time.
Now, He's called you home, I'm sad and I shed tears.
Yet, I'm glad He loaned you to me and we had these many years.”
