Finally, lol. Haven't even gotten past Casino Of The Year yet. I was just so happy to see that for the third year running he has chosen 32Red. And he described them so aptly, a class act all the way!! Congrats Ed, Pat and all the people behind the scenes at the best casino on the net!!

Great read Bryan!! And WTG John Steed, you're famous now, lol. ;)

I hope he doesn't eat the excess paper? ;)

Wow!

Very wonderful surprise today. :) Thank you kindly Mr. Bailey, and to make a webcast... well...

YEE-HA!!!

The only thing that can top this would be to win something similar to what Gramma, RobWin, or Bing had won via progressive slots. :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy

Thank you to polli123 (the creator), those who contributed to his/her "Winner Screenshots" thread by posting their wins, and to those who enjoyed reading that particular thread (and Pinababy69). :) Thank you Casinomeister, for providing us with this incredible forum. There's a wonderful community of people who come to this site and fill it up with color.

Sidenote: Again, I apologize for getting some of the currencies wrong, and for not being able to recognize (and properly tabulate) all the winner screenshots that were posted.

Sidenote II: Very fitting that the intro music used for that webcast was "Depeche Mode". It was the first big concert I had ever attended, way back when they were on tour for the "Violator" album.

Good to see iGlobalMedia winning the "Head in the Sand" award for not bothering to correct blatant flaws in their software

There's poetic justice as well. From reading another forum it seems they also left a flaw in their BJ uncorrected for months (despite someone actually telling them :eek2: ). That gave players an edge on the house and must have cost the casinos at least tens of thousands of dollars (& probably much more)

Some good entries. Here's a handful, with threads for reference:

Joyland:

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/joyland-casino-problem-withdrawal-request.9195/

Even not counting the winnings on the "error" comp point setting, a 20K royal still unpaid. Playtech apparently indifferent.

iGlobalMedia:

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/iglobalmedia-video-poker-software-glitch.6691/

and...

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/iglobalmedia-invisible-cards-trick.5628/

Need to ask why iGlobalMedia's heads are in the sand? Look at Party Poker's $200,000,000 annual take-home pay - they just don't need to bother.

Gambling Federation:

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/gambling-federation-malware.7345/?pp=10

On the basis of they lost their membership of the iGGBA, IGC and even the GPWA affiliate association. Quite some achievement.

And I beg indulgence:

https://www.casinomeister.com/forum...on-rules-adhered-to-but-winnings-stolen.8870/

After Bryan intervened, the player got his DEPOSITS back - they were intending to hang onto everything. Player was first accused of multi-accounts. Disproved, so he was then lamely accused of a "gambling scheme"; still owed $7000; attempted resolution with the GPWA. Result: thread locked.

Malware and grand larceny. Good job, GFed.

Cooks:

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/captain-cooks-group-in-trouble.7596/

Players accused of "skimming" and "deceptive wagering". Owners hightail it, Casino Rewards takes over and pays.

Golden Palace:

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/golden-palace-wake-up-babies.8445/

In their quest for the ultimate harmless, adorable prank, Golden Palace pays a young mother $15,000 to name her child...Golden Palace.

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/golden-palace-pathetic-olympic-stunt.5284/

In the name of good, clean fun, Golden Palace sabotaged the Olympic Games. As a result, the Kahnawake Gaming Commission actually sanctioned and fined them, though no details of the fine were ever released.

I attended the Webmbley date on that tour. Very good, but as a long time fan previous, i attended their "smaller" gigs at Hammersmith Odeon, a muvh more personal venue and much much better. The atmosphere was unbelievable back on the early tours and the sweat just poured off you :)

On behalf of 32Red.....

On behalf of everyone on the team here, I would like to thank Casinomeister for bestowing the honour of Best Casino on 32Red for the third consecutive year. We are totally overwhelmed by this repeat recognition as this award is the very pinnacle in the industry because it is decided by THE authority in online gaming. I am struggling to find the words that describe just how pleased, proud and grateful we all are.

Our first award for Best Casino was 3 years ago and I can tell you that we were cock a hoop then. Since then, the industry has continued to develop and mature and there are now a good number of operators who try extremely hard to deliver a great service to players. I think its fair to say that the space is even more competitive these days and we are very pleased to be officially recognised as keeping pace with the industrys progress and staying at the head of the field. Conversely, I am sure we all agree that some of the stunts detailed in the Worst Awards and highlighted above are as unwelcome and unhealthy as ever.

We would very much like to say thank you to Bryan, and add that we see the work he does as truly astonishing, and making the online gambling sector a better and safer place for the player. I know this perspective is shared by every other straight-thinking individual who participates in, or just reads the Casinomeister Forum. Please keep up the amazing work Casinomeister it is appreciated enormously.

We would also like to thank the members here at the Forum who have taken the time and trouble to post of their experiences at 32Red. We realise that we have been lucky enough to attract players who are both articulate in explaining their opinions and have strong views about player treatment and experience. Those of you who have been good enough to support us know who you are and I would like to say an official and heartfelt Thank You from 32Red.

To maintain the level of service we have been recognised for providing means good people need to be at the heart of operations. I hope this isnt construed as being self-congratulatory, but Pat Harrison is the man who leads the best team in the business. Pat guards our vision of treating players better than youd expect to be treated yourself with amazing gusto within 32Red and I would like to add a personal thank you to him. Pat is supported by excellent people at the sharp end of 32Red, who put in the shifts and deliver the cheerful, efficient and knowledgeable player support we are now famed for. Thank you everyone, and congratulations to you and the other recipients of other Casinomeister Best Awards for 2005.

Best wishes for 2006

Ed Ware
CEO 32Red Plc

Very eloquently put Ed. Congrats to all of you...and in regards to Pat, he IS truly one of a kind!

Yup. Congrats are in order to Ed and Micki @ Trident and their teams for winning the two big awards this year. Well done guys...thorougly deserved

And with my other personal fave to play at, Roxy Palace, also represented by "Vegas Splendido" on a couple of occassions, I have to 100% concur with all the Meisters choices.

Interestingly, Lee (32Red), Nicole (Roxy) and Hadar (Trident) also happen to be among the most helpful aff program managers i deal with also. Wonder if there is a correlation here?!

Congrats to 32 Red (again)! They are very deserving of the award. :)

PS- I feel this is not the thread to argue about Club Rouge membership IMHO.

Congrats 32Red! Well done, the result of hard work and solid business ethics!
Well-deserved recognition, there's really no contest.

I continue to be impressed by 32Red - without going into detail, I'll just say that it's good to know you're dealing with real people, not just software and generic customer support. Take it from me, they go to great lengths to accommodate to the wishes of their customers. 32Red is the future of online Casinos, and it's here now.

As for the Club Rouge comment above, I agree it would be tactful to discuss it in a separate thread. The way I see it, Club Rouge is more than a comps program, it's not just about wagering, it's also about relations and custom - a two-way affair.

Cheers,
SM

Hi Ed,

And on behalf of Vortran and I, you're welcome. I only wish there were many more casinos of your calibre.

I've moved the Club Rouge comments to another thread where I hope they'll see some activity.

I also want to express my thanks to the Casinomeister members who contributed ideas for catagories etc., there was a lot of thought put into this.

I also hope that some of these awards will get some people to wake up and pull their head out of the sand (or their fourth point of contact) and get with the program.

Thank you CM!! And again, a wonderful job on your awards. I can only imagine the work and thought that goes into them. :)

I would just like to say how very proud we all are at receiving the Best Casino Group Award. Our team works very hard to deliver the best gaming experience for our players, receiving this award makes it all worth while.

I feel as though we won an Oscar! So like the Oscars, it's time to thank some of our team: Lisel (Customer Service Manager/Newsletter editor) makes sure our communication is fast, friendly and efficient; Hadar (VP Marketing) does an amazing job providing players with fun and exciting promos; Mireille (audit manager)makes sure winners get paid quickly; and Victor (IT Manager) keeps all the wheels turning. (30 seconds reading maximum!)

I would also like to thank the forum members for their informative and often very entertaining posts. The Casinomeister forum is one of my first stops every morning. It keeps me informed and brightens my day.

Bryan, you do a terrific job. I cannot thank you enough for this award.

Happy 2006 everyone
Micki

LOL I can't believe some of us are congratulating places that takes your money with a big edge. LMAO! It's like a bunch of people stands in front of a camera and then rewards themselves with awards for doing so. LOL! I think we all need Jesus! LOL

They don't take your money without you giving it voluntarily to them in the first place... :D
And in my opinion, they can be thanked for making gambling a pleasurable experience for those who wish to do so :)

Simmo!

Hey Simmo!, which tour (to what album) was the earliest that you'd seen? I would have liked to have seen them around the time they had released "Black Celebration", or even prior to that. Aside from "Music For The Masses" (DM 101) and "Violator", Depeche Mode never really caught-on in North America (like a U2 of a Duran Duran... who had more radio success... whereas DM was more of an underground thing for college kids), although they were certainly huge everywhere else. I suppose that could have had something to do with the hard-rock/heavy-metal movement of the mid/late '80s (in the U.S./Canada).

I GOT TO GO GRAB THE MONEY TO DEPOSIT THERE BABY!:)

Sorry guys. I never knew The Meister's Best Caisno is different from the
"Best New Casino". But hopefully I didn't give you any negative impact.:D

I first started going on the Speak & Spell tour and then went to every tour right up to Violator. No particular one stands out - all the Hammersmith gigs were awesome. I also "collected" DM records & CDs and still have a big collection of 12 incers, promos, white labels and limited editions...somewhere :)
