It's that time of year again :D

I'm looking for input on the Best and Worst of 2010 - Best Casino, Worst Casino, Best Group, Worst Group, Best New Casino etc., etc., etc...

And if you'd like to see any new categories, please let me know. Thanks!

Even though I'll be hunkered down at the end of December, and the awards will be announced the second week of January, I'd like your input now.

You can use these as reference:

etc...

Most surprising decline - Betfair, following its recent promotional debacle and shockingly bad management handling of same?

Worst white labeller - Rival?

Most ineffective licensing jurisdiction - LGA?

I second the suggestion of a "Fall From Grace" award for this one (originally mentioned by VWM here).

WooHooo!!! best time of the year at CM.

Casino of the decade: 32red

Best casino: 32red

Worst casino: one of the rivals id say

Worst casino Group: Rival for sure.

Best casino manager: Enzo

Wosrt Blundering screw ups: Bet fair promo

The others are hard, best new casino and best casino group is a tough one to pick.

Best Casino - Riverbelle No issues getting paid, depositing, generous bonuses and best customer service out there hands down.

Worst Casino - All RTG casinos. Since they tweaked their payouts 4 months ago, its been absolute rubbish. You will be extinct soon enough, crooks.

Best Casino Manager - Andrew/Lesley at Bellrock ( Riverbelle) Friendly, takes advice and actually cares about what his customers opinions are. Also , handles any sticky situations nothing but professinally unlike some other casino managers that call out players in forums, rather sad some resort to that.

Best group- Belle Rock hands down.

Best casino manager: Enzo

The best casino manager offers to hand out a player's personal information to other players? Publicly announces the closing of casino accounts? Answers negatives posts about his casino here by telling players to "Get a life?" Suggests that publicly stated negative opinions about his casino are illegal? Invites players from his casino chat room to come here and thank his posts in an attempt to give them validity?

I could go on but in my opinion if these are the traits that earn the best casino manager award the rest of the awards wouldn't mean much to me either.

Wow, i missed that vote for Enzo, good lord. Must be a relative.

Best Manager for me would be several but I would have to narrow it down to Yasmeen at JPC imo.:D

Ther are so many good ones out there that we US players cant play at, I guess we should be thankful to those casinos that havent slid us down to the curb like (MG)

Best new option for US players: BetOnSoft

Well they are not THAT new, but they have really made a name for themselves I believe in the last year. Definately a better option for the US market than Rival.

As far as 'best manager' I think there should be some qualifying info. What does best actually mean? Someone who gets along with everyone? Someone who doesn't go into hiding when questions come up? Someone who fixes your issues? Someone who gives me....errr I mean gives OUT ;) free chips when things don't go your way? Someone who's active on the forum? Or a combination of some or all of these?
(except for the free chips, that was a joke)

I agree with Laurie regarding Yasmeen/Jackpot Capital - she's active here on the forum and really quick to look into and fix or explain issues when they happen. And she gets along with everyone too! I'd toss JC in a close race with Clubworld for best RTG group too.

And don't forget Mark@32Red, and Tom@Clubworld, IMO both also great.

EDIT: New category: Most picked-on accredited casino. Either 3Dice or iNetBet. ;)

I didn't participate last year in these awards because I joined too late.

Procedural question.....Are we supposed to just post our comments here in this thread?

Diane

For the awards, I make the final decisions but it is only via input from the membership and fellow webmasters. So it's important to tell us what you have liked or not liked during this past year, post relevant threads or URLs, or voice an opinion on new categories you'd like to see. That's all :D

So yes, post your comments here in this thread.

Hi Bryan,

I spoke to you a month or two ago about introducing a 'Best Casino Rep' category. We may recognise the Managers, but the Reps are dealing with players on a day to day basis and do not receive the recognition they deserve.

It would make me happy to see the category introduced and Ellen from 3dice receiving this award. She has been nothing but Stellar!! She is the most pleasant and accomodatiing Rep I have ever dealt with.

Nate

Gotta agree with chayton because frankly I don't know any managers. If I dealt with any they didn't mention it. LOL from start to finish JC, /Yasmeen, Oliver take very good care of players.

And Nicolas Johnson is a good guy still here which is amazing in itself the way a lot of the other reps/managers post and then head for the hills or somewhere.

But again the bottom line for me is at MGS I've never really needed to pitch a bitch at a manager or even cs so that says it all. :)

I wouldn't say worst casino group but there has to be some category for extending payout time from 24 to 72 hours. The Bellerock group did this and also flushes for other countries but not the USA.

what category would they be put in?:)

32Red seems to be the only casino that manages to keep everyone happy. There are some players who aren't happy because they can't win. Microgaming has been kicking my ass for 5 years but that's not the casino's fault. They don't make the software. There's only one casino I know of that makes their own software. If you want to complain about your payouts at all the rest, you probably need to go to the source.

Best casino rep might be kind of difficult. Seriously, how often do you talk to the CSWs? People who play at 3Dice know the reps because they have a chat room but people who play with Microgaming, RTG, Playtech and all the rest might play for years and never speak to a rep more than once or twice. That doesn't mean they don't have the best support. It just means you don't have any reason to contact them.

Worst player experience - Joaopc56. If I had 32k ripped out of my bank account by a casino, I'd be seeking criminal charges. This act should come with a prison sentence for theft.

Worst use of T&C - CW. Refusing to pay a graduate because they say he's a student and 35 pages later we still have no idea that constitutes "the area" of Markham.

Most annoying forum member - Well, I hope that's me.... I've tried so hard. :p

If we are talking about the amount of money - how about that guy who didn't get $80.000 from TIV?

I agree that the amounts are huge but this casino took the money right out of his personal bank account. It wasn't a payment denial. It was theft.

By the way, I've said many times that 32Red is the best casino that I know of but there should be a nomination for worst software. I've probably made 5000 deposits at various MG casinos in the last 5 years and managed 2 small withdrawals and rarely see 2x my starting balance.

Personally I think MG has to be the greediest casino software. Too bad the best casino has to use it.

Like others above 32red definately gets my vote for best casino.

Worst group - my vote goes to Rival white labels. The hassles this year with them have been extreme (too many threads to reference but simply read back in the history. Threads normally begin by Casino X won't pay me!)

It's hard to find fault with 32Red. They continue in excellence still.

I must agree with Nate about Ellen @ 3Dice. She's warm, fun, personable and efficient... all casinos should be blessed with such reps.

Since Bet365 is the only Playtech I play, they get my nomination! But seriously, every time I need to contact them, I'm impressed with the quality of their support team. Perhaps because of their size, there always seems to be someone in the relevant department to deal with an issue.

I think bet365 should have a chance to be named best casino of the year.

I do not mean red32 is not good however, it is already the best casino of decade.

The best RTG is inetbet IMO.

The worst casino is TIV, it has done much damage to the PR of entire rival casinos in a big way. (personally, I think that rival should settle the case for TIV, it will save much more than 80K worth of players' trust)

Which casinos have the most and which have the least PABs against them?
I know it's probably not really award worthy, I'm just curious. Probably doesn't make sense to include player fraud or unsuccessful PABs. But then unsuccessful could just mean that the casino didn't bother responding.

:p ok nevermind.

Spin Palace is my choice for best casino. I could not recommend them more highly.

Weekly 100% bonuses for VIPs. Rock solid reputation. 48 hour pays.

A close 2nd but no cigar:

Inetbet - Best RTG. Okay bonuses. 24 hour pays;
32red - 24 hour pays. Poor bonuses;
3Dice - Unique and fun games. Small bonuses even for big players. Need alot of luck to win.

best casinos

For me 3Dice is still no 1 for cs support. Top notch also they have many free tourneys which is good. They still have super fast payout.

#2 is Club World Group although CS is good payout is decent slots are a little tight but never any problems with payout.

#3 Jackpot Capital although I gotta say their RTP sucks for me this year. CS is good though.

I would also like to mention Vegas Regal this year has improved on its payout times although CS sucks.

Sadly there is not much more out there for us in the USA

The worst is always the Rogues, I hope Santa has lots of coal for them this year.

My 2cents

Happy Holidays All

My Opinion

I truly wish I could try 32 Red because it seems that most that play there are really happy. Maybe someday! In the past River Belle casino was my favorite, for almost 10 years. I always got paid on a timely basis however since the MG platform change I have not been impressed.

I do play rivals and rtg's from time to time, however I can't really think of any that I would sincerely nominate (haven't had much winning experience with them).

Here for the past few months I have been playing at 3Dice on a regular basis. I wish the games played a little better however I do believe that this is a great casino group. There has been nothing but honesty with them, quick payouts when you win, and the customer support is outstanding.

Bryan, please do a category for the best casino rep; if so Ellen is the greatest casino rep that I have ever dealt with. She is friendly, courteous, and goes out of her way to make sure people are having a great time, while helping them with his or her needs. Also, she is so personable, it is as if you have known her all of your life. Second (my only a tiny bit) is Anna. She is equally as great! I can honestly say that their chat room has made playing at a online casino even better! Hey Bryan...that should be a category: which casino has the best unique quality that others don't have. Definately in my opinion the chat area.:D

From my perspective

Best casino manager- Jackpot capital
Best casino rtg- inetbet
Best casino rep- Club world reps
Best new casino- high noon

Most disappointing- Belle rock for extending its pending period to 72hrs and 96hr if a weekend,

Worst tournament - Microgaming tournaments with 999 time continue plays.

Worst group- rival white labels.

Perhaps a new category- Worst casino spam.

Cheers

:):):)
I think the worst player experience should go to that guy who lost the 80k at This is Vegas.
I had some good experiences at Jackpot Factory (particularly AllSlots Casino) last year, I vote for them for some kind of award. Perhaps best group?
I only play on practice mode at 3Dice but I agree that they have the best customer service. If only they would offer some decent payouts, it would make 3Dice more viable. :)

:(:(:(
I had very bad experinces at 2 RTG casinos last year; iNetBet & Slotastic/Jackpot Capital.
I guess thats what I get for playing at "start your own casino" brands.
iNetBet for non-existent/rude customer support and Slotastic/Jackpot Capital for open theft and lying about it.
Imo these RTGs think they are a law unto themselves. Bad/No awards should go to them.

EDIT: I should also mention the filthy behaviour of BelleRock Casino who have the audacity of deleting what they say on live chat right in front of your eyes. They created a new cheap casino trick.

I think that betsafe.com may be some of the best casinos around. Just try to contact the support team, they will answer you almost before you have sent the request. They also have a 15-minutes support warranty. If they dont reply in 15 minutes, you will recieve about €12 (NOK 100). 24h live chat, and e-mail support. And you can bet on sports, casino and poker. Go betsafe.com :)

Best Casino: 3Dice
Worst Casino: Cool Cat and/or Golden Casino
Best Customer Service: 3Dice
Best Customer Service Rep.: Ellen @ 3Dice
Mosty Dedicated Casino Service Rep.: Anna @ 3Dice
Stupidest Named Casino: Casino Vega
Best Casino Manager: Enzo @ 3Dice
Most Annoying Forum Member: I agree Skiny, you did work at it, you should win.

I have played at numerous online casinos over the past ten years. 3Dice by far exceeds them all. Every player is valued and everyone is welcome to play free tournaments to win cash whether they deposit or not. A knowledgeable and friendly customer service representative is in chat and available 24/7.

Ellen, 3Dice Customer Service Rep., is always genuinely interested in resolving the issue at hand. She pays attention to what you are saying and reassures you that you are a valued customer. She always displays positive work ethics. The best casino representative award should go to Ellen.

Anna, 3Dice Customer Service Rep., is by far one of the most dedicated and hardest working representatives I have personally come across in any business. She is the most knowledgeable customer service rep. at 3Dice imo and seems to work at least 16 hours a day there, 7 days a week. This does not go unnoticed by the players. Kudos to you Anna!

Enzo, 3Dice Manager, is truly dedicated to 3Dice. I have come to respect him not only for his approach in doing business but also for his commitment to all of the players. I have seen him deal with unreasonable players, all the while displaying admirable patience and people skills. The best casino manager award could not go to a more deserving person.

Best Casino of 2010: 3Dice. By far the most hassle-free banking, friendliest support, and "feel good" casino, really. I generally play video poker and table games and find that these give fair returns.

Worst Casino of 2010: Betfair. That bonus fiasco and, more importantly, the theft of a player really earns them this spot.

Best Casino Group of 2010: The Jackpot Capital group. It's one of the few casinos that I feel use verification time to, you know, verify, rather than stall players. I was verified within 4 hours at Jackpot Capital and 2 hours at Slotastic.

Sitting on One's Hands Award 2010: The United States government for not regulating online gambling and, you know, getting another source of revenue to fix that deficit problem everyone is so worked up about. Derp.

Also, I second Laurie on re-evaluating casino statuses, particularly for US players. While I'm certainly not in favor of any of the currently rogue or rogue-ish casinos leaving their lowly states, I find the withdrawal delays that are often complained about from the Main Street group unnerving. Also, it'd be cool to have some official information on the reputation of the non-Grand Prive BetOnSoft casinos, as well (Lucky Creek, Mandarin Palace, and the like), but I assume that requires an initiative on their part.

Thanks Bryan and Max!

I had some good experiences at Jackpot Factory (particularly AllSlots Casino) last year
I would like to take this back if possible. Since then I have become certain that Jackpot Factory practices stalling customers on flushes/withdrawal questions. While I understand it isn't major, it's still enough to turn me off this group.
