The Best and not-so Bestest of Online Gambling - Meister Awards for 2024 - We need your input!

The Meister Awards are possibly the most anticipated awards for the entire online casino industry. Considered by some to be the only awards that matter because these are awards with the players in mind, dished out by our community. Not a mutual back-slapping circle event - these are awards that recognize the Best casinos, casino operations and people that are associated with online gambling. The 2024 list of categories will be more concise and focussed mainly on the positive catoegories. This is your chance to let us know what kind of experiences you've had in 2024.

For the newbies, The Casinomeister Awards are dished out right after the Xmas break - usually during the third week of January. It's an "event of the year" which has been held since the early days of 2001.

For quite a number of people, these are the only awards that matter... nevermind the rest, these are the best. :thumbsup:

How we decide:

This post contains several categories containing shortlist nominees gleaned from the general consensus of forum feedback and comments throughout 2024. You will see traditional names and newer ones, as old-time operations and personnel continue to maintain good standards and newer ones attempt to emulate that required of the Casinomeister philosophy. These things are quite subjective so some may wonder at names which are or are not included but please bear with us. Best crypto casino is being selected here.

There are several more categories which are decided by the admin panel as as before, but these here are the ones that matter most. Casinomeister is here for the players and community so your input is valuable as well as necessary. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

P.S. Just one more thing before you reply with your opinions - please remember this is a thread for selecting award winners and why you made your choices, which would presumably be through positive experiences. It is not necessary to detail why you haven't voted for somebody else. Thanks again!
 
Lol not sure how we got that shortlist as never saw many people voting for casinos. In fact from checking the thread I actually only see 3 members that made genuine posts voting for casinos and the list above doesn't even match it. In fact the most popular vote was for Paddy Power that isn't even on shortlist.

Think it just proves the point that no offence the awards are pretty pointless now. And don't take it the wrong way but very much doubt that these are the only awards that matter much . But it is what it is.

But out of the list for me the runaway winner is bet 365. Fast payouts. Good sports betting and games at decent RTP.

Even have prize draws you can win as I got a cash prize of £88 the first week and £101 this week from the Xmas promotion.

I find this type of stuff to just be dead now. Gambling in general feels like its dying. Hell, I havent even really played in months aside from the rare 100% reload.

Casinos with their lowered rtp shouldnt win shit tbh.

So cant vote for any casino aside from one ...but will vote for Jan as best rep.

Best casino Bitstarz because they are all on the highest rtp.
 
Ok! Some way 2024 flew by even faster than 2023, despite all the bad news :p
My list is gonna be even shorter this year. I'm basically only playing @3Dice these days, but that's more because of the quality then for lack of options. My jurisdiction has quite a number of options, and i've tried them all, and still drop a few small depo's here and there, but the lack of autoplay and decent bonuses/loyalty rewards is really starting to get to me, so it;s becoming less and less...

The only reason i keep doing it is because some of the games that 3Dice naturally doesn't have (as they are proprietary) grew on me and i get the urge to play them :p

I also have developed some serious RSI issues since autoplay is missing, and i curse just typing this - pisses me off to no end! Anyway, here's my list:

Anna, without a doubt -i could tell you a lot of stories based on my, and close friends' experiences, but will refrain: gotta trust me on this one! She will go above and beyond, sometimes even to places that you wouldn't expect! :p (in the best possible way of course) A true gem and i'm happy to be able to enjoy it!

Obviously a close shared 2nd place to Mark and Jan, based on my past experiences with them. Both excellent gents and definitely also gems in their own way! Props are due..

As another player driven to crypto this year due to the constant hassle of sending documents, being told I am playing unsocialable hours or playing too long, there is little I can add to this thread except Mr Vegas I have played at in 2024 and never had any problems.

Mark and Jan get my vote for Rep as I see them here helping other members almost daily.
 
I do not understand the notion that these awards are somehow out of date or irrelevant. It is not as much about us players as it is about those who provide the casinos and the reps that are here available and willing to help us out.
I recall not long ago how much casinos where so happy to be able to add "Award winning casino" on their front page. Remember how Risk casino celebrated winning an award? Or Royal Panda?
I think that to a point we abused them.

Give casinos the love and they will give it back.

Biggest dissappointment is as always the UKGC. I have had no worst experience this year because I have hardly tried any new casinos,sticking to those I can trust.
 
Feels very UK centered, understandably.

3dice is unique and interesting but haven't got to try them out.

BitStarz rock solid as expected and still sticks to the better RTP versions as far as I can see.

Don't know much about the others but I believe 365 are the only ones to have acceptable RTP settings.

In fact, I think in this current trend of RTP versions only dropping further and further down almost everywhere you look, a mimimum criteria to even get nominated for awards like these should be that they have opted for the best available RTP versions of their games.

I’ll have to reciprocate and say the best casino group is L&L.. I’ve not played for a while as I got lazy when they asked for docs (my fault not theirs) but enjoyed their product and offers and Jan is obviously the best rep - he’s super quick to respond on here.

It’s a great forum to be part of and I hope it continues to flourish under the new owners.
