Collaboration reduces the number of illegal operator adverts on questionable websites

The UK Gambling Commission has developed a collaborative tactic with the British police force's Operation Creative – an initiative by the Police Intellectual Property Crime Unit (PIPCU) which takes action against websites that direct the public to companies offering illegal or pirated online gambling, films, music and books.
The partnership has proved effective, with the number of online gambling adverts on such websites reportedly dropping by 36 percent.
