Russian online and retail bookmaker Fonbet agrees terms with Russian national football union
The National Football League of Russia has inked a deal with the Moscow-headquartered online and land bookmaking firm Fonbet through which the bookmaker is appointed title sponsor of the Russian football second division over the 2015-2016 season.
The 20-club division will be officially branded the 'Fonbet Russian Football Championship' and will give Fonbet publicity and promotional advantages.
In addition to the sponsorship terms, Fonbet has agreed to create early warning systems on unusual betting patterns and other red flags as an aid for the NFL to prevent corruption.
