Has Sky Betting Dropped Social Gaming Division?

By Casinomeister, Last updated Sep 11, 2015

Sky Hollywood Slots operation shuttered after just 8 months?

Unconfirmed reports circulating Tuesday indicate that Leeds, UK-based Sky Betting and Gaming has shut down its social gaming division, apparently prompting the departure of divisional head Bruce Bale.
Remarkably the division, which operated in partnership with the US-based OpenWager Inc., only launched in January this year, adding three more iOS and Android games to its Sky Hollywood Slots inventory in April and boasting of a growing player base (see previous InfoPowa reports).
The venture was the first free-to-play social casino enterprise for Sky.
