From the ground-up as regulatory process restarted

William Hill and Bet-at-Home have joined the German sports betting association saying they want to actively contribute to the debate regarding the advancement of gambling regulation in Germany.
Bet-at-Home said legal certainty is essential to justify its current commitments in terms of German team sponsorships which already underline its keen interest in the German sports betting market.
"We welcome the commitment of bet-at-home.com and William Hill in the DSWV," said Mathias Dahms, president of the DSWV. "With our new members we will increasingly work towards legal certainty, fair competition and consumer protection in Germany. The recent regulatory efforts of the federal states have legally failed. A constructive political fresh start is needed now."
