Idaho pro bests 312 other entrants to win WSOPE main event, his second gold bracelet and Euro 883,000

The 2015 World Series of Poker Europe Euro 10,450 buy-in NLHE main event went into the history books over the weekend as a win for Idaho pro Kevin MacPhee, who claimed his second WSOP bracelet and Euro 883,000 after besting a field of 312 other entrants.
On the final day of the competition MacPhee faced five other final table survivors that included JC Alvarado, Andrew Lichtenberger, David Lopez, Felix Bleiker and Killian Kramer.
MacPhee started with a major advantage, having accumulated more than half of the chips in play, and he kept up a relentless pressure on his opponents throughout, although runner up David Lopez from Spain gave him a good fight in the heads up.
Lopez eliminated Mexico's Juan Carlos Alvarado at third for Euro 315,000 to set the scene for the head up, with MacPhee holding an almost 3 to 1 chip lead. Nevertheless, Lopez gave a good account of himself, playing with skill and determination against a tough opponent who aggressively used a substantial chip lead.
The Spaniard even managed to seize the chip lead at one point, but in an intense fightback MacPhee recovered, and by the end of the match had expanded his lead to 3.5 to 1 before finally dismissing Lopez in second place for Euro 475,000.
Other final table cashes included:
Andrew Lichtenberger Euro 225,000 (United States)
Kilian Kramer Euro 175,000 (Germany)
Felix Bleiker Euro 130,000 (Switzerland)
Erik Seidel Euro 100,000 (United States)
Mario Sanchez Euro 75,000 (Spain)
Johannes Becker Euro 60,000 (Germany)
