Three New Gambling Apps On The Way From Will Hill

New apps all based on the iOS platform

William Hill Labs has previewed three new iOS-based free apps which online and land gambling parent William Hill plc is set to release before the end of 2015.
The apps, provisionally titled Cheer Me Up, Yes/No and Rapid, are currently being beta tested by selected online and mobile punters, but will be available to the public through the Apple App Store before the end of the year.
Detailing the apps, William Hill's director for innovation and customer experience, Jamie Hart, said in a statement:
"With a massive 3.7 million people a year now using either desktop or mobile to gamble, the appetite for mobile experiences is stronger than ever. As well as the "full fat" experience of our rich sportsbook, we think there's value in offering these alternative opportunities to have a defined punt on something fun, fast and focused. Our WHLabs tech hub allows us to launch these products on a small scale and gather real world feedback. There will be plenty more to follow."
The Yes/No app is described as bringing a popular retail experience to the online environment and offers a 33/1 pay-out for the successful punter.The app presents a series of six questions regarding a match or event, with a simple "yes" or "no" answer. This encourages punters to get involved in major sporting occasions like the Rugby World Cup, or even national TV events such as the Eastenders' "Who Killed Lucy?" storyline.
Cheer Me Up can be summarised as randomised instant betting; it's a simple roulette-style app developed to give players an instant football bet opportunity in any live game to enhance the spectator experience. Unlike standard sports bets, Cheer Me Up takes tricky decisions out of the equation by selecting a random match event — a goal, a goal kick or a corner — on which users can bet.
Rapid — as the title suggests is a fast yet personalised experience and is touted as the fastest way to place a bet. It offers convenient multi-market access and personalised top bet notifications, once the punter has configured his or her key information.
