Chief executive officer let go

eSports company Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) has let go its chief executive officer Per Lilliefelth following a Breitbart Tech report saying the organisation owes players "thousands of dollars".
The report published by Breitbart last week claimed that NIP management had withheld prize money and in-game merchandising proceeds since as early as the beginning of 2015.
NIP released a statement soon after saying Lilliefelth had steered the ship through unforeseen rapid growth and while acknowledging that some of the criticism and accusations levied at Lilliefelth were true, not all of them were.
The statement went on to inform that Patric Jönsson had been appointed as interim chief executive officer for NIP with immediate effect.
Current Chairman of the board Hicham Chahine will be transitioned into the role of chief executive officer during the first half of 2016.
