William Hill Australia has relaunched Centrebet in a surprise move, placing the offer as a premium betting service which is "all about the price and high limits".
According to a presser, the new Centrebet will provide the best odds while offering the highest available limits through its Power Bet product on Australian metro horse racing and major sporting events.
The bookmaker goes so far as to promise "market leading limits" for bettors who have previously had their accounts restricted or closed by competitors such as Tabcorp and Ubet.
"This is a great day for the Australian punter and for betting," Tom Waterhouse, chief executive officer of William Hill Australia, said.
"Centrebet is the only option for all punters who want the best price and the only place the professionals can get a big bet on."
The Power Bet option, described as "no frills, no gimmicks" is available at least two hours before the start of each betting event through the Sports tab on the Centrebet website or app.
