9 arrested and 41 computer sets seized in latest police operations

Police in the Kluang district of Malaysia have reported shuttering four online gambling shops in raids over the weekend, arresting nine individuals and confiscating 41 computer sets and other evidence.
Kluang district police chief, ACP Mohamad Laham said the operation was jointly carried out by police, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and Simpang Renggam District Council officials.
Mohamad threatened: "Operations such as these will be carried out regularly to curb online gambling."
