Dot Bet Domains Available From Afilias

First come, first serve basis – and probably at a premium
Global domain registry services provider Afilias invited offers for a landrush on new "dot BET" top level domains Monday.
Dot BET (.bet) domains will be available using a Dutch auction format from February 8 through February 12, the company said.
During the auction, available names will start at a maximum price, which will be lowered in decrements daily as registrants decide at what price point they wish to register. Names will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis.
The landrush will be followed by a brief hiatus until March 3, 2016 when registrations for the .BET domains begin again at regular prices.
".BET is the ideal Internet address for all wagering activities and games of chance both on and offline," Roland LaPlante, chief marketing officer of Afilias said. ".BET is the new top level domain created for the large and growing online betting and gambling community. It is short, memorable, global and ideal for marketing.
