Achieves ranking in Veckans Affärer's "Sweden's Most Powerful Women in 2016"

NetEnt's chief development officer Åsa Bredin was named as one of Sweden's most powerful women by weekly business magazine Veckans Affärer this week.
Bredin, who was recently recruited from King, was ranked seventh in the publication's "Sweden's Most Powerful Women in 2016".
"It is good thing that strong and intelligent women are emphasized, as the need for more role models in the technology sector that can inspire other women is increasing," Per Eriksson, chief executive officer of NetEnt commented.
"At NetEnt we're confident that broadening the competence pool, at all levels, is the winning concept. We have set a goal to achieve a 50/50 gender balance by the year 2020. It is clear to us that gender balance and diversity delivers better results and increases innovation among employees."
Bredin joined NetEnt's executive team in October 2015, prior to which she served as senior director of engineering at King. She spent around six years in various roles at Betsson Group prior to her time at King.
