Widespread raids of cyber cafes offering illegal online gambling net 392 desktop computers

Police in Klang, a city in the Selangor province of Malaysia, were active over the weekend, announcing Monday that in collaboration with the municipal police they had raided 10 cyber cafes alleged to be offering illegal online gambling.
MPK enforcement department director Andry Arman Masrom told local reporters that police officials seized 392 computer devices during the raids but apparently there were no arrests.
"When we arrived, some patrons had fled but there were a few who were deeply absorbed with the games," the police spokesman revealed, warning other illegal operators that raiding operations are to be intensified.
