Online Lottery Secures Irish Licensing

Lottoland adds a third licensing jurisdiction to its operating record
Gibraltar-based online lottery provider Lottoland has secured a remote gambling licence from the Republic of Ireland National Excise Licence Office, the third jurisdiction that has accepted the company in the last year.
The licence enables Lottoland to offer online lottery products that include lottery betting, scratchcard and games to players based within the Republic of Ireland.
The company also operates in the UK and Australia.
Announcing the award of the Irish licence in a company statement Tuesday, CEO Nigel Birrell said:
"The Republic of Ireland is a vibrant, growing market with huge potential and we're very confident there's a strong appetite for our innovative lottery betting offering."
Birrell claims that Lottoland can now boast over 3 million registered players who generated nine-digit revenues in 2015.
The company offers the opportunity to wager on an extensive portfolio of draws available to bet on including EuroMillions, US MegaMillions, US PowerBall, Spain's El Gordo, 5 draws from Australia, Irish Lotto and a host of other lotteries from across Europe and beyond.
