An unusually warlike theme for new game
The latest offering from ELK Studios launches today (Wednesday) titled Poltava – Flames of War featuring an unusual eighteenth century war theme replete with ominous music and thunderous sound effects.
Inspiration for the theme was drawn from the historical battle of Poltava in 1709 in which Russia's Peter the Great defeated a Swedish army in a key confrontation.
The features in the game reflect this association with the past, especially with the Marching Reels Respin. If one kind of battle symbol covers a full reel, that formation will trigger the Marching Reel Respin feature.
The player should also look out for Lion symbols, which trigger free spins with sticky wild and epic win prizes in the Flames of War.
