Major UK land and online gambling group is now famous football club's official betting partner
English Premier League football club Chelsea has announced that online and land gambling group William Hill plc is its new official betting partner in a three-year agreement.
The bookmaking firm will host Chelsea's match day betting service at Stamford Bridge, allowing fans to place bets on match days and collect winnings from any one of more than 2,300 retail betting shops operated across the UK by the betting group.
The deal gives William Hill access to a wide range of opportunities to engage with the legions of Chelsea fans, including stadium, advertising, digital and social networking involvement.
Describing William Hill as one of the most recognised and trusted brands in the gambling business, Chelsea managing director Christian Purslow said Friday in a statement:
"We are very happy to be working alongside William Hill for the next three years. We are sure Chelsea fans around the world will be able to benefit from their exciting and exclusive offers."
