Head of regulation and Gambling Commissioner responsibilities separated

Phill Brear, who since 2011 has been Gibraltar's Gaming Commissioner and Head of Regulation, has stepped down from Head of Regulation post following a division of responsibilities between the two positions; a search for a new incumbent has begun, according to local media reports.
Brear will retain his responsibilities as Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner, and is to assist in finding his replacement.
The Gibraltar Ministry of Financial Services and Gaming has set October 21st as the deadline for applications for the post, which has been designated as 'Director of Licensing and Regulation', reporting directly to the Ministry.
