More Lame Duck Gambling Warnings (update)

Forbes magazine flags the danger of an Adelson-inspired attack on US online gambling as the current Congress moves into its final stages

Forbes magazine has joined other publications in flagging a possible attack on US online gambling during the closing weeks of the current Congress… the so-called "lame duck session" where last-gasp attempts are made to drive bills through the federal legislature, often on the coattails of unrelated appropriations bills.
The highly respected publication carried an article this week expressing concern over crony-driven politics in which private agendas by wealthy entities and individuals can be driven through political donations, and uses land casino baron Sheldon Adelson's vendetta against online gambling as an example.
