Cyprus Woman Arrested For Operating Online Gambling Facilities

Police seize eight computers in small-scale online betting enterprise

Police in Nicosia, Cyprus have arrested a 26-year-old local woman for illegal online gambling.

The woman managed a small betting shop but when police raided the premises they found a total of eight computers being used to gamble illegally online, mainly on international horse and dog races.

Investigations continue, and the un-named woman will appear in court shortly.
