Full Tilt Poker Pros Prevail In Amateur Player Challenges

Hansen and Blom shine in Bust a Pro promotion

Gus Hansen and Viktor Blom may have taken a hammering on the virtual high stakes tables recently (see previous InfoPowa reports) but they showed plenty of talent and aggression this week in besting four amateur challengers in Full Tilt Poker’s inaugural Bust a Pro promotion.

The two pros faced a German, a Briton and two Russian players in three heads-up matches that offered a prize of $50,000 to the amateurs who could overall beat the professionals.

It was a whitewash – not one of the challengers made it to the end, although two of them – BENDER118 from Russia and chris_munich from Germany – earned consolation prizes of $5,000 for winning their matches.
