Action Poker Taken Over By Equity Poker Network

EPN committed to reviving the lacklustre Action Poker brand
The relatively new Costa Rica-based online poker company Equity Poker Network has announced its acquisition of the long established but languishing Action Poker enterprise, which will be immediately moved on to the EPN.
The Equity statement reveals that it intends to refresh and re-position Action as the European sister brand to the recreational poker site FullFlushPoker.com, which has quickly grown in popularity and player numbers since it's real-money gaming launch in November last year.
Action Poker's transition to EPN will be effected quickly to ensure that remaining Action Poker account holders will be shielded from any apparent impact to the availability of their gaming options, and in the interests of continuity of their play, an Equity spokesman said Wednesday, adding:
"Action Poker was once a great, competitive, and respected brand, but in more recent times, its standing in the poker community has lapsed. We plan to restore it to its former glory, and to create a sister site to our flagship FFP brand that we can be proud of."
