Sportradar Seals Finnish Football Deal

Data partnership will run for several years
Sportsradar, an international provider of sports data, has announced a partnership deal with the Finnish Football League Association (FFLA), which runs the popular top football division in the northern European nation, Veikkausliiga.
The agreement gives Sportsradar exclusive rights to collect and archive data from all league matches and distribute it to the media and betting industry, and allows the company's Fraud Detection System to be deployed in monitoring all Veikkausliiga matches for any indication of fraud or other corruptive activity.
Carsten Koerl, CEO at Sportsradar commented: "Our betting and sports data services will engage football fans in Finland in new ways and across all platforms. We are also looking forward to further strengthen our commitment to support football in countering betting-related corruption.
"The FFLA's forward thinking approach to protecting the integrity of football is highly commendable and our sophisticated Fraud Detection System will greatly assist in this."
The FFLA is the official governing body of football in Finland.
