Online Gambling Numbers Rise In Delaware

April statistics show that the state's three operators generated more revenues than the previous month
The Delaware legalised online gambling market, although still small, continued to grow in April according to statistics released by the state regulator this week.
The state's three online gambling operators took in $240,496.04 over the month, with Delaware Park netting $180,900.37, Dover Downs $48,553.31 and Harrington Raceway $11,042.36.
Total revenues showed an improvement over the preceding month, when $206,833.42 in revenues was achieved, sustaining a consistent month-on-month growth pattern.
The April numbers reveal that online poker revenues declined at $74,078.01 (March 2014 – $84,391).
By comparison, Nevada online poker revenues in April were down at $792,000 in April, and in New Jersey online poker revenues amounted to $2.6 million in overall April revenues in the Garden State that topped $11.4 million (see previous InfoPowa reports).
