Satoshi Bitcoin Players Remain Unpaid

Previous owner sold the enterprise for the price of an international airfare

Satoshi Poker, a Bitcoin-currency online poker enterprise that was at one time regarded as an up-and-coming competitive threat to its rivals, appears to have fallen on hard times.

Posting on the Bit Coin Talk.org forum this week, former owner Bart Van Oort lamented that the new management, whom he identified as Ragnar del Torres, running the enterprise for a US-based owner, had reneged on a promise to meet outstanding player obligations totalling 25 Bitcoins.

Van Oort apparently sold the company for the cost of a Thailand-Europe airfare, and part of the agreement was the assumption of the site's obligation to players.

However, instead of immediately settling that obligation, the new owner told Van Oort that the site was being revamped and that pay-outs would not be made until a successful re-launch under a new Burn Turn.eu branding has been effected.
