Isis Labs Moves To Change Its Corporate Identity

Online gambling provider intends to change its title to Imperus Technologies Corporation

Toronto-based online gambling software and platform provider ISIS Lab has announced that it intends to change its corporate title to Imperus Technologies Corporation, which it describes as "…a name selected to reflect the company's direction and corporate strategy as a premier, online gaming company."

To facilitate the name change, the company has taken various steps, including, but not limited to, securing domain names, corporate names and trademarks associated with the new title.

The change of name is subject to regulatory approval.

The company's platform was developed for both social gaming and monetized gaming for clients operating within regulated markets. For clients operating within fully regulated markets the company offers a turnkey solution including a full commerce application and back office suite.

Industry observers have speculated that the change of title may also have been influenced by the emergence in the Middle East of a terrorist caliphate with a similar acronym to ISIS
