Chief operating officer steps down

Sportech's chief operating officer Ian Hogg (50) has resigned from the Board and will leave the company to pursue other business interests.

Hogg will remain an employee of the company until December 31, 2014, a company statement informed.

Ian Penrose, Chief Executive of Sportech, said: "I would personally like to thank Ian for his contribution to the Board over the past four years and we wish him every success in the future."

Hogg is currently listed as an investor with GamCrowd, an investors platforms to connect with start-up businesses.
